They should compare similar title games. One is cartoony while the other is more realistic
If SONY can make this price competitive with the 3DS, Nintendo might just well find itself trailing Sony this time around in the hand-held market.

Real Killer it's not even close. When the PS3 can render HDR in FP above 10/12 (PC's go as high as 128 in game and do not use hacks like NAO32 which consoles use...It's not real HDR) running real AA (not post processing MLAA) using Tessellation (Which the PS3 does not support in hardware at all) then you can talk.

So its not innovative? What game is these days. The only two I can think of this generation is Little Big Planet and Spore. Other than that, games this generation are all rehashes of the same genre with better graphics and sounds.

If Sony puts the price of this competitive with the 3DS they have a HUGE chance on upsetting Nintendo. They will get mass appeal.
If Sony does what they did with the PSP and PSPgo then they have no chance at all in over taking Nintendo in the hand held scene.

I would too, however if its that much then its dead on arrival to the 3DS because once again, Sony will bring out the better handheld with kick ass features over Nintendo's offering, but get slayed because of price...which in turn makes game devs bring out most of the games for Nintendo's system
