The first game was good. Had its issues but otherwise it was a good game. If they can correct those issues, Metro 2034 can be amazing
Console gaming in the traditional sense is on its way out. You will see cloud console gaming well before PC gaming dies. But you can continue to enjoy your sub HD gaming with fake Anti-Aliasing and fake HDR running at 30fps and lower with low and medium textures with no tessellation or ADOF and the list goes on.

Sure you can do that if you like. I have twin 5970's in my rig, but you can buy a $100+ GPU that plays all the multi-platform games better than the PS3 and Xbox360.
And in real HD unlike these consoles.
720p was on the PC....back in 1999....now 720p is the Standard resolution for these consoles and people call that NEXT GENERATION. Go figure

I can't think of too many if any FPS non linear shooters on consoles to be honest.
Great...so the PC version gets the "console" PS3, Xbox360 shaft once again. Anytime I hear:
"will be equal on all three platforms..."
It really means:
"PC version will not have DX11 from the ground up as IT should have."
"PC version will have the same level of textures despite having more memory and far superior GPU'S/CPU'S"
"PC version will have lame ass ...

Don't kid yourself. The PS3 version will be just as limited as the Xbox360 version with a few exceptions.
If you think for one minute that the PS3, like the Xbox360 can run 64 players locked at 30 fps@ a dismal 720p resolution, running that game engine that supports destruction, I have swamp land in Florida for you.
The Xbox360 AND the PS3 are limited. 512 megs of memory and 5-6 year old technology that both these consoles drink from are the true culprit.

If this is true all I can say is WOW.
Metro 2033 graphic wise was outstanding and is the only game that stood up to Crysis in terms of graphics. It was the best looking game to be released in 2010. You just needed a beast PC to run it in its glory. When you did...damn the game looked smokn

So you're correct. This game is not next gen....that would make KZ2/3 the Atari 2600 then as it lacks all those features BF3 has.

Mag looks like a Xbox1 or PS2 game with static backgrounds. Thats why they could do it. Sorry but its not a good looking game.
Try making MAG with a game engine like the one used in Crysis 1 or the Frost Bite engine that supports destructible environments and see how far you get

KZ3, KZ2, GOD3, Uncharted 2/3 do NOT have a destructible enviroment like this game engine or the Cry engine.
When they is a game on the PS3 or Xbox360 with a game engine like that and can run 64 players and look like BF3. Then you have an argument.
