My killzone is generally getting slower at loading full stop. I think its to do with how the patches are added to the game. But its hardly a massive pain since the mulitplayer games themselves last a long time

M$ are bringing in the ability to buy films through XBL video marketplace and have them associated with your gamertag so they can be stored on your xbox full time or redownloaded if you ever delete them. Ill likely buy them on blu ray though as i dont trust M$ to commint to allowing me to download it whenever the next console is launched.

Thanks for the tip ill be doing that now. yeh i use my PC most for browsing but since my consoles are connected to my large screen TV i like to stream content from the net through my console.
Although your comment is a joke i would like to shout at my marines to make them fight harder rather than have them stand there like fools. I dunno there is something in me that always feels like i could do with shouting at the AI and even encouraging them to fight harder. Seriously though Natal is the start of somthing different in gaming and im glad to see it if done right.
Oh by all means add weapons produce a new story and add new equipment but dont change the basic mechanics of what makes Halo, Halo. If i wanted large amounts of camera shake or a character that felt human id play COD. If i wished to spend time using a cover system id play gears of war. I want Bungie to develop Halo not to overhaul it to become a COD.

Halo is a game you either love to death or really hate in my experience. Forums are full of people either praising the series or calling it. My opinion is that its one of the best shooters to date and ive played Killzone 2 and Gears of war and this game still has me playing online like its the first day i bought it.

I doubt the reach Beta is in september as it is classed as an invite to the beta and on many occasions during the Bungie podcasts the team have stated that it will take place in 2010. BTW if you are looking to take part in the Beta keep the disc of ODST as it is only joinable through the games menu.

You are 100% correct in the reasoning behind microsoft not placing a browser on the 360 and to an extent im happy they are taking the custom built app route. Having said that a browser would be greatly recieved by myself as i do use my PS3 browser quite often but spend more time playing games on my Xbox. Them adding a browser to the dashboard would just make life a little easier for me as i wouldnt have to leave my party to watch my online episodes of south park or House.
The PS3 version looks obviously better and the extra dev time and rebuild have obviously helped the game graphically. Question is was it really needed when the game will play no different and PS3 owners when playing it will hardly tell the difference.
The fanboy flame war above is pathetic from both the PS3 and Xbox side but dont insult a great game like Halo. Graphically it wont beat PS3's lineup this year but it sure as hell can fight back with the gameplay, 2 years on and still going strong, there are very few titles that can say that on console.

Its got lower res because its cross platform. You cant expect a studio who are publishing a game for 3 platforms to invest time, money and man power into getting it running HD on every platform when its hard enough to get a game running HD on one with a purpose built engine. the KZ2 cover system sounds cool in theory but it doesnt do anything more than if i were too kneel behind the cover. Plus i dont think the control system for it translates well into gameplay. If i could toggle into cover in a similar way to Gears e.g tap x and stay there till i decide to exit by tapping x again i would much prefer it.
