It's a damn first person shooter and get this. They gave Metro 2033 a 9 but under bad things they said, and I directly quote, "The shooting sucks".
That makes absolutely no sense to me.
If the main mechanic of a game is bad, how can that game get such a high score?
Yep, according to these morons Dante's Inferno, a BLATANT God of War ripoff, is just as good as God of War 3.
Anyone, even an Xbot, must know that is nonsense.
Seriously, you've already done most of the work. Just blog it up and get it onto this front page. I'm sure the topic of "Edge is a blatantly biased group of liars" would get a lot of heat on N4G.
Activision has a LOT more money than Infinity Ward and those scumbags at Activision will be able to hire much bigger lawyers than IW and will probably end up winning this breach of contract lawsuit.
The only way this company will EVER stop is when WE, the GAMERS, stop buying their crap and allowing them to get away with it. As long as we keep giving them our money they will continue to pull crap like this because they CAN.
On their OWN chart PS3 version of FF13 is currently number 1 while the 360 version is number 5. So who is right, MVC or MVC?

In other words, this web site is filled with a bunch of morons. Their predictions are worse than Michael Pachters.
Justified or not, Metacritic takes itself very seriously. When they find out this review was one big troll, one big middle finger from Sterling, maybe they'll finally smarten up and take this site off Metacritic.
All the scares in RE were cheap "jump" scares.
The only game I EVER needed to turn off while playing so that I could gather myself and slow my heartbeat a bit was Silent Hill 2. It is the scariest game EVER. It had the jump scares but it also had the psychological scares as well.
On top of that, what perhaps made it even scarier was the fact that every time your radio started going static you KNEW something was out there, close by, ready to kill you, but ...
This reeks of Microsoft basically telling them "No PC yet". Remedy seems to WANT to put it on PC eventually. As a PC gamer, I hope when they eventually have that "sit down" that Remedy can talk Microsoft into putting it on the PC as well at a later date.
If you looked liked Jim Sterling you'd constantly write vitriol filled, sarcastic articles all day too.
You very VERY rarely hear of gaming companies blacklisting web sites. Yet for some reason Gamekult admits it has happened with numerous gaming companies.
So are we to believe that it's just a coincidence that Gamekult is constantly being blacklisted or maybe, just MAYBE the site itself violates embargo rules repeatedly and has a combative attitude with the gaming companies.
My vote would be the simplest solution...that perhaps it's NOT the gaming companies that are ...
Why is everyone getting it for the 360 when the PC version will be superior (the first one was FAR superior so I'm not sure why this would be any different).
I can understand if there was multiplayer and people wanted to play with their XBOX Live friends but in a purely single player game like ME2, why get it for the 360 if you have a PC that can play it?
They thought it was going to take the top spot and it didn't.
The reason was because it IS heavy and it is NOT the best handling around the corners. The main reason it made up for its less than stellar handling is by it's TREMENDOUS pick up of speed in the follow through. It took the follow through like no car ever had and shaved a good 1 and a half seconds off it's finishing time.
The acceleration in the Veyron is THAT good.
That record you speak of on Nurburgring is for the Lemans Rothmann's Porsche, NOT a production Porsche. Who cares who owns the racing record.
What REALLY matters is the non-tuned production cars record. Yes, some Porsches are above the Veyron but again, who cares. The Veyron isn't built for cornering, it's built for straight line speed. The thing weighs much more than the Porsche's above it and thus has terrible cornering prowess.
P.S. A Viper and a Corvette are ...
They would tell Activision to take their games and shove them if they want to keep pulling crap like this. Lets see how Activision likes it when they start losing money hand over fist from the PS3 only gamers. Activision and Bobby Crotchtick obviously don't care for Sony to begin with, so give him the finger and black list their entire company. I GUARANTEE you their board of directors wouldn't like that one bit.
...and why people get upset.
In this day and age many people buy according to the meta sites. Hell, some companies even give devs bonuses if they exceed a certain meta score. You see, I've never liked critics. Too often they are irresponsible with what they say. Whether they want to accept it or not, many people decide whether or not to purchase something based upon said critics final score.
Therein lies the problem. Perhaps some reviewers simply do not like a c...
...the ridiculous, so called "random" team stacking continues.
It's simply NOT fun when you and everyone on your team are in the teens or single digits in rank and everyone else on the other team is 40+. This happens quite a bit too. I TRIED to play like that but losing 50 to 12 is NOT fun. EVER.
I don't quit any other time but if I see the other team is completely stacked, I'm gone and I don't give a crap about the money. I play this game to have fun...
As an American even I know it's simple tech xenophobia. America has a stake in Microsoft, and entirely North American company (one of the most powerful in the world) to continue to succeed. This is one of the biggest reasons they are constantly hyped so much in the American press while Sony, a Japanese company, is bashed incessantly (moreso in the past, not as much currently).
No joke. Read the list.
The games you mentioned had other things going for them. Bioshock shooting was fine but what really helped the combat was the plasmids. Nothing like that in Metro.
Fallout 3's shooting was also fine. As a matter of fact it was great as most reviewers said mainly because of the addition of the slow-mo you could engage in.
Reading through reviews the combat mechanics in Metro are more about being a pure shooter and a pure shooter should have immaculate shooting as i...
