It's incredibly fair to critique what is shown. I'm not saying we should stay excited and whatnot. I'm just addressing the overwhelming negativity that stems from people once E3 is all said and done. It's the breeding fanboyism and cynicism that I have a problem with.

Would you say that you're honestly surprised that the hate and fanboyism has already started? I'm not surprised really. At that, these are so-called professional journalists making outrageous claims like this one asking the question of From Software being a one trick pony.
I hope Joker doesn't return. References of Joker are okay, but as much as I think that the character is fantastic, I think that other Batman villains should take center stage. Black Mask and the assassins had that opportunity in Arkham: Origins, but the developer turned it around and made it all about Joker. A very disappointing plot twist to be sure. I'm hoping that Scarecrow and the others will have a great turn to be the central antagonists in Arkham: Knight.

Bringing in Mirror's Edge 2 was a smart move for EA. Whether or not they don't mess it up is an entirely other thing. I just hope there won't be any microtransactions.
Master Race? This is why many gamers don't take PC elitists seriously. Why can't you just enjoy playing games on the computer? You have to constantly put down everyone else just to bloat your ego and show off your "all powerful" gaming rigs.
While I do agree with four of the five games, it's really hard to narrow down eight years worth of gaming and choose only five to define the generation. Three in that list were from 2013 alone. If I had the time right now, I would try to put together a list like this. Then I would do a list of the worst games from the last generation to be fair.

Very true. The Xbox One reveal conference, E3 2013, and the interviews and information that followed spelled disaster for the Xbox One at launch. Microsoft left a bad impression on many people. Quite a number of those people were Xbox 360 owners. People in rural areas, armed forces, and even entire countries were shunned from Microsoft with what they had planned for the new generation. 2013 was not a good year for Microsoft's Xbox brand.

Not surprised that NBA Live 14 dropped so much, but I still wouldn't recommend that game to anyone who plays NBA games. It's just all kinds of awful.

I can't wait! I missed out on Generation III because I didn't have a Game Boy Advance, but this will certainly make up for it. These scans show that the games will pretty much be in the same format of Pokemon X and Y. At least, I hope this is how it will be.
