And now you know more about Phil Fish, lol. Now, as for your question regarding the Avengers:

Dude, that trailer was so freaking sweet! I am pumped for Age of Ultron! I can tell that James Spader is going to own that role as Ultron. Him talking about not being held back or being a puppet was amazing. I hope this will be a movie I can watch repeatedly and not get tired of it (like the first Avengers movie).

After seeing the trailer, I have a lot of questions, ...

"For it to be character assassination the person needs to A) be malicious, B) be unjustified, and C) his target's reputation/credibility must be considered good."

Thanks for understanding the blog. This piece didn't come from malice, but just my opinion on Phil Fish destroying his own career.

"He also didn't tell half-truths, manipulate facts, or outright lie."

Thank you, Brucis.

"HonestDragon's viewpoint, like a lot of tabloid journalism, is basically a character assassination."

Okay, for starters, I did not target Phil Fish to do any harm to his character. He destroyed his own image by himself. I am merely showing those who are interested why I think he wasn't going to make it in gaming because of his attitude and lack of professionalism.

And to akin this blog as "tabloid journalism" is just insulting. I ...

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on there. Spec Ops: The Line is (for you) the "worst game ever"? Are you freaking kidding me? How many games have you actually played, yet come to the conclusion that Spec Ops: The Line is the worst of everything that you have played? I just find that incredibly hard to believe. Plus, there are a lot of details in this article that are really off, which makes me think you barely even played this to begin with.

Nothing wrong with dreaming. Great list, too.

Mentioning a new MAG could be beneficial to the PS4 multiplayer base. The first game was online only and got shut down completely in 2012 I believe. I never played MAG myself, so I'd have to go off of what others say as a recommendation.

I think we will see more on IPs releasing next year. Who knows? We may get another surprise like we did at E3 with LittleBigPlanet 3.

Ah, Spec Ops. One of the gems of 2012. I wish more people played it to see the potential military shooters could have these days with characters and narrative.

Wow. She's doing a lot of damage here. I know it was a very tumultuous time when Dina became the community manager, but it sounds like things have gotten worse. After reading about all of the complaints and seeing the screenshots from backers, this one thing comes to my mind about Dina: abuse of power much?

Also, what the serious hell is up with that snarky Tweet about GamerGate?! Screw you, Dina! For someone who claims to be into games and then turn around and post somet...

Good grief this article is stupid. "Nintendo hates money". Give me a break. Everyone who writes about Nintendo being doomed or not trying hard enough clearly haven't seen the latest reports on Wii U sales for both the console itself and its games. A simple Google search will reveal that the Wii U (as of late September) has broken through seven million units sold. The author also neglected the success that the 3DS is having, too.

Could Nintendo be doing better? W...

What many ignorant people tend to do is go for the violent and misogynist argument when saying that video games influence gamers. Jack Thompson and Anita Sarkeesian are the obvious worst cases I have seen. Unless there are others out there who are worse that I haven't heard of yet, which I'm sure there are, but I'd have to do some research. There have been no studies that are fundamentally conclusive on the ideas they have tried to regurgitate time and time again.

This is....one of the most vile things I have ever heard in my life. It's one thing to always try to look on the brighter side of things and find humor where and when you can, but this is just atrocious on so many levels. How vindictive do you have to be to do something like this? How low do you have to sink just to get a laugh?

And before anyone says (because there will be guaran-damn-teed one person to say this), "Oh, they are just having fun", this is not fun...

Simply put, Joe was downright livid at some parts with Destiny. Seems like a love/hate relationship there considering the great scope and production of the game versus the paid expansions that cut off a lot of content from the core game. This was a great review and that ending was hilarious.

A few of my friends got it and their reactions have been mixed at best. One of them loves it, but another sees it as just average. I was waiting on Joe's review to see what he thought...

Very well written article. Sums up a lot of the current feelings gamers have about this whole situation and how the gaming press needs to seriously clean up their act.

After reading what they would be investigated for, I was blown away for a second. I knew Phil Fish sunk low, but racketeering? Damn! Watch out gaming media. Your tactics are gonna come and bite you back.

This whole situation has just exploded. Starting all the way back from Sarkeesian's misinformed and judgmental Tropes vs Women series to the latest scandals with Polygon, Kotaku, and Zoe Quinn, this has literally become an "us vs them" debate. It's gamers vs the gaming media.

Now that all of this has come out about reviewers "getting personal" with game developers and those same people turning the situation around on us (the gamers) has only turned...

Anita is a fraud and that has been proven through a video taken in her days in college. She has amassed her legion of yes-men in an attempt to capitalize on the subject of women in and with video games. Her Kickstarter was only successful because she managed to upset the immature and ignorant of the gaming community with sympathizers funding her campaign. Those gamers who targeted her do not represent everyone in the gaming community and to think that is asinine. I refuse to accept a shared i...

What the hell? Okay, I'm taking away two glaring things out of this article. One, if the developer is going to go through the trouble of using food to cover up the naughty bits of its female characters, then they are trying way too hard to give out fan service and are more so diverting to virtual porn at this point. Two, which gamers have mentioned, this game looks like it belongs in the sixth generation of consoles. This is the best they can muster at D3 Publisher? Seriously?! D3...what ...

Denying gamers access to services they use (whether it's paid or not) does not make us sympathizers to whatever concocted cause these hackers fight for. We know that they not only attack video game services, but participate in every example the author shared of people being victimized is all very true. Most people don't deserve the kind of crap they endure from scammers, hackers, and criminals, but they are just as easily overwhelmed by the experience. These juvenile and wannabe crusa...

Sigh. An inconvenience to be sure, but still quite annoying. It's like these hackers have nothing better to do with their time than temporarily block gamers' ability to sign in to their online accounts.
