Valkyria Chronicles II getting a 6 is fair. This game is a huge step-down from the first one. Maps are chopped, story isn't good, and the voice acting is terrible.
Well it's true, the game hasn't aged well at all. FFIX still looks pretty good today. FFVII's character models are awful.
PSN plus is the better service.
PSN+ = free games (Critter Crunch, WipeoutHD, Syphon Filter), discounts on DLCs and great games, free avatars, etc.
Xbox live = $60 to play online (something that's free on PSN), and some useless features like facebook and ESPN.

I agree with FFVII being overrated. FFIX, VI, and IV are better.
The characters are terrible. Let's see, you have a spiky, haired emo who has amnesia and has no clue chicks dig him. Barrett = walking stereotype. Cait Sith is the worst character every. A cat on a moogle? Who thought of this? Yuffie is annoying, but thankfully she's optional. Sephiroth = momma's boy who killed a flower girl behind her back.

I love Gamefly. It's a good way to save money especially for those short, single-player games. I canceled mine recently due to school & work - not going to have enough time playing.
Shipping is fast. Since I live near Austin, I get my games the next day or the day after that. I also like that they ask you when you received the game or when you mailed it out, so they can improve their shipping. Also, I never had any trouble getting the new releases games.
That's a very good deal for VC2. It's going to be on sale September 5th. Hopefully it's available online. I don't think we have a K-mart.

That's going to put a big dent on my 60GB. With all these games that have mandatory installs, I guess I won't install this game since I don't feel like wasting money on a new HDD. Sony should've sorted out the mandatory installs.
I played all FF's, and I thought FFXIII was a very good game. Much better than that FFX crap.
Read the review. It's overwhelmingly positive.
Still on the fence on this. Rental is the safe way to go.
