This is an awesome read. Looks like Yakuza 3 nailed it for the most part.
I hope Parasite Eve 1 & 2 are on PSN by the time 3rd birthday comes out.
Move is four years late.
Lame update. Give us something good!
Metal Gear Solid 4 is the most overrated trash this gen. The story isn't good, cutscenes are too drawn out, bosses are just bad rehashes, and the gameplay was pretty poor for a "stealth" game.
PS3 is the best console ever!
Lost Planet 2 is to blame. It sucked ass!
Agreed. FFVIII has one of the best opening videos. I don't like the game, but I'll give credit where credit is due. The opening was fantastic. Persona 3 FES' opening was pretty awesome too, as well as Nocturne's second intro.
They confirmed that hostess clubs will be in the western version of Yakuza 4. The only confirmed content cut is the answer x answer quiz game.
There will be two versions: Namco and Capcom's. I don't know which version to pick up. This is great news.
I hope the game is good. I've always wanted to see a AAA game, and it's finally being made. The pre-order bonus is pretty cool.
Great numbers for the 360, and Nintendo is doing great as usual. PSP sales are pathetic.
Coming from GameCritics, this is an excellent score.
This game was a huge disappointment and not as great as many put it. Yeah the graphics and music are great, but everything else falls flat. **Spoilers**
Drebin Points:
This was a terrible addition and made the game very easy. You can purchase ammo whenever you want, even during a boss battle. It didn't force you conserve your ammo. What type of stealth game lets you buy ammo whenever you want?
Bosses were just copies and had no personality:
14 hours. 9 of them are cutscenes.
Yeah, many just care about the money.
Atlus are one of the very few that give out some awesome pre-order bonuses. I got a free Junpei cap just for pre-ordering Persona 3 Portable. The hat is pretty sweet actually. I pre-ordered Etrian Odyssey when I heard the pre-order bonus was an art-book. Etrian Odyssey's artstyle is pretty nice.
But yeah, I hate it when the bonus is like a free downloadable character or outfit, and if didn't pre-order, they charge you like $2- $5 for it.
Yes. You get both the original story and the female perspective. Its two epic stories for the price of one. The PS2 version has the closure chapter (The Answer), which clears up the ending of the main story, but I didn't like it. It killed the awesome ambiguous ending of the main story, and it also lacks social links which is the sim dating part.
Why I recommend the PSP version over the PS2 version:
- Play as both male and female
- Full party support
Every JRPG fan and PSP owner should get this. I already spent like 8 hours on it, and it still feels fresh. Love that the game has incredibly short loading times, and navigating is a lot faster now.
Tell us something we don't know.
