"There was nothing else onscreen that would give us any clues as to how this game is set up other than it looks to be a 3D action game."
OMG...we knew this for years. And the young man with short black hair is Noctis.
It looks like it won't be released for another two years.
This is the only gaming shirt I have: http://s373.photobucket.com...
This Persona 4 shirt was a pre-order bonus from GameCrazy. It's almost two years old, but as you can see, it's still like new. Why? Because I rarely wear it. I mean, just look at it. It's yellow! I would get beat up if I wear it in public. Please Cat...give me something manly lik...
That looks awesome. I hope it has co-op.
Oh yeah, I forgot Odin Sphere had some terrible framerate problems. I hope those issues are fixed.
Yeah they're action-RPGs. The combat for Odin Sphere is pretty simple, but the story is very good. I think the same applies for Muramasa (haven't played it.)
Redesigning a character is not innovating or improving the series.
"start liking the character for his own self, and not a fake dante. dont look at him as the old dante clone"
That's hard to do, especially when you grew up with the series ten years ago. Dante alone made the DMC series special.
It would be funny if the final boss is a werewolf.
No he's not.
Burn it with fire!
Thing is DMC didn't need surviving. It was doing well on its own; DMC4 sold like more than a million on each platform. And DMC3 improved on many things including the combat.
I'm not. Ninja Theory developing this game & the Dante redesign killed my interest in this game.
We hardly knew ye DMC.
Yeah I'm going right now!
"The truth of the matter is that the "Devil May Cry" games haven't really changed very much since the first game launched in 2001."
I'm guessing this guy hasn't played DMC3. DMC3 introduced different combat skills like the doppelganger/royal guard/trickster, more diverse weapons like the guitar, and great, varied amount of boss fights. Also, DMC4 had Nero with his hands being able to grab enemies and jump over obstacles. He sort of had like a d...
Just give us another DMC3. Is that too much to ask for?
Agreed. We all know the new Dante is not the real Dante.
I'm not!!
No he's not. Looks were just part of it. The old Dante had a great personality, which made him a lovable character. He was funny, arrogant, sarcastic, etc. He also looked intimidating....well in DMC2 at least. Him alone made the DMC series special.
This new Dante looks like a wimp. He's all bones.
They have every right to bitch. Why change his look now after four games? This is not the Dante we grew to love.
DMC is dead. Long live Bayonetta.
