By delivering the goods you mean half-assed products followed by DLC that should have been included on disc, which they won't do until the release of the Gold edition?
Wii U is to PS360 what the Wii was to PS2 and Xbox.
One gig for gaming, the other half is reserved for the OS.
The Galaxy Note 2 also has two gigs of ram as does the quad-core Korean GS3. By the time the Wii U comes out, this should be the standard in the mobile world.

You actually buy most of your weapons in Counter Strike. You can scavenge, but it leaves you vulnerable in a game where matches can last less than a minute.

I agree, but they seem to have emphasized how the engine can be scaled to new technology. Since Fox isn't being licensed, it makes me wonder if they're developing next gen versions in parallel. Or MGS5 is being developed for PS4/720 as we speak.
It could be for current and next gen. They'd be stupid to pass up on the opportunity to sell this to the tens of millions of current gen console owners in favor of a few million early adopters. Games cost a lot of money to make and Konami is a business.
