Dude when I first heard that it would be an action game I was put off immediately. When I heard no playable party members and a FFX like map I was put off further. The revenge trailer tipped me slightly but the State of Play convinced me this is a return to form in terms of story and characterisation. It may not be the Final Fantasy we grew up with but the essential components are there. Who knows they may revert to turn based for FF17.
Played every mainline Final Fantasy. High points for me FF7, FF8, FF9, FF6, FF4.
Low points FF13 triology, FF12 and FF10.
Turn based enthusiast but hyped to the moon for FF16.
Detractors in this thread already. Stop hating, get a PS5 and as a bonus you get to play all the highly rated games already released not to mention upcoming bangers like Spider-Man.
Dude I’m totally sold. And I’m an old school final fantasy fan. I feel like I’m in school again, have not been this hyped since finishing FF7 back in 1997 and waiting for FF8.
One can clearly see why this game is a State of Play feature. It is sublime.
Oh man! That’s an excellent way to kill the wait.
Take it you don’t own a PS5?
All of my reservations have effectively been dispelled. I can’t bear the two month wait!
They’ll take anything at this point, bless them.
They should focus on getting their games to run at 60FPS
I read Microsoft and penetrate. Assumed they were referring to their customers asses.
It’s going to take a way longer delay to give me the game I want not that drivel they demonstrated.
Orchard the difference between the services is the sheer number of quality AAA games versus filler/ slash decades old games on the other.
This is why I’m always physical over a service especially for those big titles. Does downloading them save you from not being able to play them?
I read your statement and you totally correct. Sorry, my bad.
Omg. Just reading this makes me feel dirty. FU Activision.
I loved the helmet sniper mode. Scoring headshots was so satisfying.
@thesoftware730 As per Microsoft games released on series X and Series S are to perform the same. Please refer to the Baldurs Gate 3 saga. They couldn’t release that game on BOTH the Series consoles because they couldn’t get split screen to run on the Series S so they going ahead and releasing on PS5 and PC.
Parity policy dude
I chuckled when I read this.
