Not profitable enough though. That’s what happens when you sign timed exclusivity deals with the way less popular and preferred console manufacturer in the case of Tomb Raider. Other games were purely cash grabs that backfired on them such as Avengers.
The Activision sale will literally do nothing. Not going to make Microsoft change their ways and certainly not their developmental clout; see Redfall. Also look at the recently released regional and combined sales charts. It’s very telling, people simply don’t prefer them and justifiably so.

Playing it in 2002 was jarring as I came off the back of turn-based RPGs. I came back to the games in 2007 and enjoyed it and the sequel even though I was still not an action battle system fan. Remember grinding one level almost for a full day in a bid to get rare weapon drop for Donald.

Rebirth will likely be next year. We also overdue for a roadmap State of Play which will likely be aired this year too with unannounced titles. Looking very good on this side of the fence.
Of that 5.74 million Series consoles sold how many were X and how many were S. That figure would be telling in why Microsoft can’t just cut the S out of the equation and indicate how they disadvantaged themselves with a less powerful sku.
