I doubt cod would be a exclusive. Only way it could happen is if Activision would release a separate game for the current gen. It's too hard to alienate the current cod players when barely any of them have migrated to next gen.
Best way to do this is to slowly migrate the userbase. Have crossplay between current and next gen for the next 2 cod games then go full out next gen on its third year.

JRPG's are great on a portable device(vita). It hides alot of the bad textures because of small screen.
Another reason why JRPG's are great on a handheld si because of all the grinding needed on those games. Some grinding parts can get a little boring, so doing those grinding chores on a commute can be brilliant.
X-2 battle system was great. Never got to finish the game though, so this would be a good opportunity.

FFXII was amazing but you have to understand that X-2 is the easier option since they are already upscaling the models for X.
For them to upscale XII would take years longer.

reusing assets is a normal thing. You don't criticise the film industry to recycle their props/cameras/backdrops/scenes /stock footage do you?
I'm pretty sure most people modify their models/textures all the time. Actually King of fighters has recycled their old stuff for years.
If this game does come out then I hope namco would make SF fighters fight like a tekken game.
Basically have SF characters have LP RP LK, RK.
Would be a really creative style and much more innovative then sfxt.

I think he has always wanted to finish off the shenmue saga. It's his baby, maybe something that completely flopped and ruined his career but it has always been something he spent years of his life in making.
Maybe if they do a kickstarter project they should consider an episodic release. shenmue is alread split up in a bunch of chapters (13 chapters I believe), wouldn't hurt to experiment on making an episodic RPG/adventure/action/FREE/what ever the genre it is.
Definitely a future-proof plan. I mean there is hardly any content for 4K.

Agreed, although if you have a Sony 4K TV then all the streaming service would be available through the TV anyway, you won't need a PS4.
But if you don't buy a Sony TV and go for a Samsung, then I guess the only option at the time being(ish) would be to use a PS4 and stream the movies.

1080p HD TV were kinda new, few years later LED TV's came out and then Smart TV's.
Too many people recently upgraded their TV's so I doubt people would be buying them so early on.
My Plasma SD TV was around £4000. 1080p HD TV was around £2000. I probably won't get a new TV until it hits around £1000 or if I know I have content that would enable me to view anything at 4k. My first HDTV was a samsu...
As long as i don't have to wait minutes to watch a stupid advertisement before I can do anything, I don't actually mind advertisements too much. Sony also needs to get more revenue to keep some of their services free otherwise they just end up getting in more debt and I would hate the day that playstation/sony not existing.
that would be quite cool, but most likely the browser would be rubbish. However, everyone has a smartphone/tablet so looking at guides on those is not a problem for me.
I'd also liek to comment on the UI. I kinda like it, XMB has always felt a little plain to me, and with all the add-ons dont to the PS3 XMB it just looks ugly.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the Vita will have this UI when the PS4 gets released and have an updated look for the PS Store. ...
It really depends on how Sony implements this and how they make it easier for developers to do this.

Also Sony servers better be upto decent standards for the PS4. My PS3 downloads are sooo slow, downloading patch updates is even more slower and takes ages just to download a GB or 2.

I heard that splitscreen diablo was a little fun, not sure how it worked though since diablo is definitely a game you need as much field of vision as possible.

Heard that psone version had alot of framerate and graphical problems. At that time I had a LAN setup with a bunch of crappy 133mhz computers, but it was good enough to play diablo. Playing 3-4 players lan was a blast.
