Who the hell would get the rift over vive at this point...after the wonky rift motion controllers are released it going to almost the same price but with lesser quality. Not to mention valve is backing HTC and Facebook owns oculus.
How is June "almost here"? It's almost a quarter of a year away..
The less than 1% of pcs being able to run VR is most likely not accurate, and also that's just based on the baselines recommended specs to keep solid framerates etc.. Users with decent pcs probably would just need to buy a 970 gtx for $300 bucks. If they already own a PS4 it might be a better route for them, but that's their choice I suppose.
Let's be real, a complete bundle is a camera, move controller and PSVR and that is more than $450. PSVR with a standard controller will be good for some ported games, but it's not going to be true VR content. Being able to sit on the couch with a controller and a headset isn't really VR, it's something the oculus has been able to do for years since their first dev kit.
Of course it's sold out everywhere, things usually sell out when they get preorders 7 mo...
PSVR, Rift and the Vive are not consoles. They are peripherals. Almost all of the news sites and fanboys on either side keep talking about them like they are consoles. They are not. PSVR looks to provide a lower barrier to entry, but PC gaming is always going to have more potential because of the ability to continually upgrade. The PSVR looks great and I'm going to get one, but with the price of move controllers and a camera, it's not a lot cheaper than the Oculus. The Vive costs the ...
I don't know anyone that has a camera for their ps4, why would most people have it? PSVR looks great, but is definitely going to be confusing for consumers when they have to buy a camera they probably don't have for it to work, add the (optional) move controllers and you're looking at a price point just south of the Oculus Rift, but with some diminished specs.
There is no justification whatsoever for complaining about the price. This isn't some half assed $20 arcade game.If $60 is too much for this game, then don't buy it. There's literally nothing that would warrant complaints about the price, especially when less complete triple-A titles cost the same (or more with season passes).
exactly, I would be shocked if a company as big and dedicated to their console as sony, would have a lot of trouble having ample stock ready. They're basically failing in almost every category aside from their console and tvs, which they are definitely kicking ass at. Psvr looks awesome, and it going to provide a lower level entry for enthusiasts and end customers wanted to try VR, but with the reduced specs from oculus and htv vive (aside from the upscaled refresh rate)I'm not sure a...
This is so far away. Is it really going to sell out? Seriously more than 7 months away...
where did anyone get any info in this article regarding specifics?
this is all I got
"Andrew House hosted Sony’s panel at GDC, announcing several juicy tidbits including the PSVR’s release month and launch prices for several different regions.
A new mode on PlayStation VR was also revealed, called Cinematic Mode. Using Cinematic Mode users can play PS4 games on the PSVR headset on a giant virtual screen with three different levels of zoo...
cool, someone let me know when any of this comes to PC. I do have a PS4, but why would I buy it on a console just for the exlusive DLC? Not a fan of these kinds of business tactics
if this doesn't come to pc, I'm never buying another lego game again
no ant man or spiderman? :(
hard for me to get past the generic art and horrible voice acting when I originally played this on the ps3, pretty decent game though
looking forward to this game coming out in 2020
have fun whining about this game costing $60 when I'm getting thousands of hours entertainment, especially when (and not if) this comes to VR, which is most likely at launch. I'm pretty sure I won't regret paying full price for this game..
I love CDPR, they are definitely my favorite game company. Hopefully their success doesn't change this.
Yeah, you'll be waiting quite a while.even on a machine with 2 970s I can't do 4k resolution on games that are less impressive looking, better optimized and still expect to get near 60fps...4k gaming is a ways off
looks nothing like him
God I hate self-righteous antipiracy assholes. Stop elevating yourselves with a false sense of moral superiority like you're on some higher plane of existence.I'm not talking about Nintendo either, specifically the whiny little boyscouts in this thread.
