My first impressions was pretty surprising, it looks and handles a lot better then expected.
There’s some work to be done with the lighting and fog but no major issues so far.
You can turn up FOV in settings which is always a welcome feature.
The games was leaked earlier in the week and turned out to be spot on🤷♂️ I don’t think anyone is expecting Sony to not offer strong titles, they have been on a roll for months with PS+
Stranded deep will probably get some stick but despite its performance issues it’s a decent survival game.
Around 15 hours for a first play on standard difficulty. There’s a lot of spoilers going around so be carful to avoid.
Resident evil 7 was popular for speed running so no doubt this will be loved for that.
playing it safe is not going to cut it for me this generation. The few exclusives I liked are done and Sony’s yet to make 1 decent online game since the ps2🙈
I need more then the odd action adventure game every couple of years, it’s getting real boring.
Great, that’s exactly what I wanted to hear.
I’m not the best person to ask this as I prefers old school turn based over the modern mechanics. 13 sentinels was great but some will not like the way the story is told or how bonkers it seems at first. It’s the last jrpg I brought and like many others I stopped playing it and haven’t been back to finish yet.
The hidden gems imo are the retro or indie titles, everyone knows all the big names with this type of game of games.
If a rouges done right, and it sounds like this one Is then the replay value is insane. I love nothing more then exploring new areas or mixing up items/enemies which is why I play a lot of randomiser mods on games.
This genre isn’t for everyone but the popularity of rouge like games is on the rise.
The story might not be worth $70 but that’ doesn’t mean the gameplay or content isn’t. Hope it does well and it’s one of the few titles to interest me into ge...
I’m worn out on JRPG but I’ll give this a go to try the building mechanic, expecting it to be heavily implemented being as it’s in the title?
@Farther_Merrin
Point still stands, ps5 is quicker but in reality you will be loading more on ps5 unless you finish the game In a single play, don’t change to any other game or fully power down the console.
It’s hardly anything to feel threatened by so don’t worry yourself too much.
The list is spread over multiple games so you can’t purchase the whole list in any one game FYI
Around 10 -15 seconds as a guess but once it’s suspended in quick resume it makes the initial load irrelevant. Ps5 will always be faster on that first load but after that Xbox will have spent less time loading.
Nice read and a surprisingly decent list although there’s a few odd choices. Johnny Cage would not be in the top 10 of my list lol
Love my horror games and I’ve played all the best ones over the years but none kept my on edge like this game did, alien isolation comes closest but even that wasn’t as nerve wrecking as you know what’s going to be coming after you.
I’ve always hated deep dark water so that definitely adds to the fear factor here. The risk of getting lost and running out of air, food or water keeps you on edge but it’s what’s lurking in the unknown that really made me anxious.
Software is not going to damage your hardware on a console. The console would close it self down before temps get too high as safety measure. Having crashes on PS does put you at a higher risk of having corrupted data so that’s something to consider.
Personally I’m waiting for the full release of the game in 2022.
Jumping the gun a bit here, Sony is yet to offer a decent online game but I’d like to see them have a good try at it.
I’d say about 20-30% of people are aware of how to get the best value or are still on there original 36 months.
A lot of people are happy to just leave subscriptions running and most just simply aren’t aware of how to get it cheaper.
A small amount of people will be using throw away accounts but they are the people that wouldn’t of already paid for Xbox live.
Pure guesses of course.
I’d be curious to know how many people are paying...
Couldn’t resist downloading Titanfall 2 again to check it out.
Games like cod are pad killers imo, the amount of times L3 is hit to sprint during a match is high and most players will use more force then needed due to the fast paced action. I use Auto sprint on any games that will allow it for this reason.
Then there’s the particles that build up from the analog stick running against the controllers face plate, all that dust and tiny bits of plastic will clog it up over time if not cleaned.
matchmaking was never an issue on any console but people are going to want to play with there friends on other platforms, that doesn’t make Sony look any better though so I can see why you put that spin on it.
