I’d rather Microsoft not buy it as I hoped it would be the app that solves cross play chat issues.
A lot of games do have cross chat but it’s never been brilliant, then there’s games like Rocket League that don’t have any form of voice chat across different platforms.
This would mean so much to me, I’ve lost hundreds of hours worth of saves on PlayStation.
It’s probably my fault with the way it’s worded.
I didn’t buy a PS5, I had my heart set on one at first but now I’m happy to leave it for this year and see how things look in the future.
After battlefront 2 drama there seems to be less micro transactions in games now, times have changed and that is a win for gamers.
Same with Cyberpunk, developers are more scared now then ever I would say. The internet voiced there opinions and it’s going to benefit all future games.

I know it sounds weird that people are spending more but it really does turn out that way.
I’m playing more games without spending money on them first which means I find more games I like rather then not risking the purchase before trying. I’ve also brought more DLC then ever because I haven’t had to pay full price for the base game.

Strange how it’s my most used console, why would I pay more for the same games on other platforms🤷♂️ The only games I was interested in are Demons Souls and Stray, there’s nothing at all on the horizon for me.
I’m glad my hype for Demons Souls calmed down or else my PS5 would be collecting dust now just like last gen. PlayStation just doesn’t make enough interesting games to be a main platform for me and this gen looks dry. Definitely not needed for this year.

Hope you never have to deal with lost save data, if your not paying for PS+ or using USB’s you are risking that happening.
cloud save files are the same as the local ones as long as your are connected to the internet.
If you have a cloud save that is more recent then the local save it will automatically download and use the cloud save. You don’t have to do anything as it all works seamlessly.
You can manage save data in settings, choosing to delete an offline save or cloud save.

Resident Evil looks to be another series I loved that has moved on to an audience that isn’t for me, it sucks but not much I can do about it.
I’m glad I haven’t played this game yet but the devs seem committed to improving on it.

I didn’t mention other consoles but Nintendo is lacking with cloud saves also, before the switch you couldn’t transfer saves if the console broke or was lost. Nintendo has games that are worth paying to play online for so I can justify that.

Terrible examples as they give you a free limited amount of cloud storage. This isn’t nit picking its me wanting a better service.
