That’s completely understandable I just wanted to say that so you don’t feel too worried about permanent damage or have to miss out on playing the game.
Think I’ll hold off playing for a few days as it sounds like this DLC could be released this month.
It’s not going to damage your console. Worst case you have to offline update with usb and lose some save progress if you didn’t have back ups.
I know that doesn’t make it perfect but I wouldn’t worry about any permanent damage.
Wish it was the full game but I’ll happily take a demo over nothing. This explains why I couldn’t find it on the store to purchase.

January 2022 is sooner then I expected this game to be releasing so I’m happy with that date.
I’d say they are making it really easy for you. if you already have a PC you don’t need Microsoft to force you into spending more money on another console.
Do you have a good PC? If yes then why would you want console exclusive games when you already have access to them.

Nothing worse the then going to play a multiplayer game to find out everyone’s playing on new maps which you don’t own. The only people who benefited from it was people that played the game frequently.
I was enjoying the game but I couldn’t put up with the screen being split with the Duel Reality mechanic, It’s a cool idea but gave me head aches.
There’s a Rick and Morty episode I couldn’t sit though because they did something similar.

You don’t remember the announcement trailer and how it didn’t originally include any indication that it was coming to PS4, Sony would make an announcement later that it was also coming to PS4.

These games was in development for PS4 and ps5 before the first lockdown though. It was declared a pandemic around the start of 2020, how long do you think it takes to make a AAA game? Sony hasn’t just started working on the PS4 versions, that was always the plan but they wasn’t going to let you know that.
This was obvious to me with the way Miles Morales was made to look like a ps5 exclusives.
