I don't think it sounds ridiculous or think it's a bad thing. I still have a PS2 w/ games. Why the long face? They don't take up that much space.
"Gone are the days when popping to Blockbuster to grab a DVD was commonplace Friday night practice."
Yeah, millions of people use Redbox, netflix, etc. to rent their DVDs and Blurays now....
Even currently for those looking to watch/collect high bitrate movies, blurays are the way to go. Of course, by the time internet speeds/servers around the world are fastest enough to stream PS4 games, PS5 will will out.
Not to mention the milli...
Okay will do, thanks.
I've been more impressed by some of the screens of Second Son because the low-bitrate video doesn't do it justice.
I might try this if it comes to the US or maybe otherwise. I've been wanted to play more strategy oriented games. I'm going to give Disgaea a try on the Vita and some others.
Every time something new launches we see these articles.
"3DS doomed because of smartphone?"
"will tablets replace consoles?" (lol)
"Will the "mini-fridge" replace the refridgerator? WRtf refridgerat0rs are now doomed!?"
and so on...
Now, 3DS is the fastest selling mobile device of all time and PS4 is the fastest selling console of all time.
Just like Netflix didn't end physical movie sales, many peopl...
It isn't all smoke and mirrors but it is very much a buzzword once again.
It is an ideal marketing term, created to encompass a number of remote services, many of which were already available in some form.
I am not one of the "naysayers" but I also have at least one foot on the ground and don't understand why some people think these services will inevitably replace all hardware or something rather than coexist with current technology.
It's like th...
Yeah, I bought Dragon's Crown on sale on the PSN store to support Vanilla Ware and I'm thinking I might also need a physical copy of that gem to support them further.
Yes IMO.
I buy games that I like for my collection.
I love PS+ for trying games that I'm not ready to buy right away, games I don't absolutely need in my collection, or games that I find I want to buy.
I don't necessarily buy games new(when their first released) but I buy them in new condition to support the developers that I like.
They have to try and maintain/regain their credibility somehow.
"Does 'PlayStation Now' make the PS Vita TV Redundant?"
No and Sony's new service seems like a great additional option but I like to actually own most of my games.
I am most interested in the remote play for my own personal collection.
I think the 3 million number is probably legit but I also think the PS4 numbers would probably be higher if it wasn't sold out 95% of the time.
I have a feeling we'll probably be seeing some mind-blowing game releases this month for some reason and by the time Driveclub releases we will have a lot more to get excited about.
Also, if I'm not mistaken devs have hinted at possible game reveals for this month and the timing would be about right.
Just like you have no one to blame for your bubble count but yourself. :P
I got mine like new with a 8gb card for a little bit over US $100, but I would pay more if I had to.
I'll take it a step further.
I have a Vita and I still want a Vita.(One of the new models of course)
It's an amazing device.
One day I will have two Vitas. ahh
Why the disagrees? Technically I want two Vitas, further debunking the title.
They could become a decent OPTION for some people.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it may be physically impossible for conventional tablets as we know them to even approach the power of a laptop at this point.
People who can't stand carrying anything around that is over a few pounds or a couple kilograms can choose to make that compromise, but I don't mind carrying around the extra weight(a laptop) because as far as I'm concerned it's easily more than worth it...
Interestingly, his dog is a hairless poodle.
Wow, can't believe I didn't notice that. I'm used to seeing so many mindless "teh consoles are d000med" comments that maybe it threw me for a loop. As if people haven't learned from history(or sales data etc.). They should appreciate that not every new technology renders older technology obsolete, just like the microwave didn't render the stove obsolete.
