Hopefully this will start a trend towards more customizations and other devs will take notes on how to provide options instead of just alienating certain gamers by offering only casual play modes.
Some of the PS4 exclusives will look about as good or better for a while, only at possibly lower fps and resolution than many PC titles can achieve. All the other bells and whistles will be there.

The Vita can definitely still be a success. It is up to Sony to make the right decisions in order to make it happen.
Great atmosphere, great gameplay, and great options. Hopefully more devs will get the message that some of us would like to play their games minus the hand-holding.
I am guessing since it is an "all access" subscription it will offer all kinds of benefits, some listed in caption. Along with all kinds of features and bonuses, some of which players previously might have had to pay for.

The amount of products sold through to customers definitely matters to many investors, especially in certain circumstances.
It reflects the actual demand and popularity of a product, which is very relevant.
One example would be if a company shipped 10 million new light-up yoyos to retailers and their sold through numbers after 4 months only accounted for 100,000 units.
The amount shipped is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how fast they will be resold. ...
There won't be too much complaining. Games from Naughty Dog, etc. will come out for the same hardware and make the complainers look incompetent. This will be the generation that will force certain devs to learn how to properly optimize their games. PC players will be thankful too.
I agree with some of your comment, but they aren't EXACTLY like PCs.
At this point, they need some good PR, some big news. If they want to hype their new console before losing momentum they could announce one of their blockbuster titles. At this moment in time a Halo announcement would probably be most likely if that's the case. Just some morning ramblings.
