If Stadia is a success and thats a big damn if it will definitely change gaming. I dont have any hope that it will be successful though with their marketing and anti consumer subs.

If console gamers really want to have better technology and reach high end pc level gaming faster they have to stop being so cheap when it comes to these systems. Microsoft and Sony can create monster consoles for the public at $600 - $700 with true cutting edge technology without mid gen upgrades.But if the casuals keep on complaining about price console gaming tech will stay at a slow pace compared to PC.

Microsoft is going to make a hell of a lot of cash next gen with Sony using their azure servers next gen, and Sony will finally be able to upgrade the quality of their ps now services win win. I believe PC will have most of the exclusives next gen from both due to these cloud services.

I will never forget these battles.
They dont have the engineers to pull that off.
I agree these consoles next gen should have options to play 60fps on all games. 30fps is not the future imo.
I totally agree. 30fps games should be totally a thing of the past next gen. Sony and Microsoft has to set a mandate of 60fps limit or above to move the entire industry foward next gen.
Next gen PS5 and Scarlett will be amazing. I just hope devs will set a 60fps or above limit on all next gen games so that standard can become a trend in the industry.
I believe Microsoft will succeed with Xcloud where as Sony failed with PS now latency and limited resolution due to their expertise in software and their vast Azure datacenters around the globe.
Thats the issue these machines are no longer that unique because both are using the AMD chips. Sony and Microsoft no longer battle in hardware like they did in the past I wish they did! It wouldve been more exciting if Microsoft used Nvidia or Intel for Xbox Scarlett next gen.
Exactly these 2 companies are going the same route next gen and its not really exciting. They both use to be so unique in hardware and software but that will change next gen imo due to both going for cloud profits. This will be the last gen Sony and Microsoft launched with totally different visions. Next gen they will be to similar in hardware and software now due to cloud partnership.
I dont know how long these console wars will continue but its getting really hard to tell the difference between Sony and Microsoft future right now.
