Wrong type of business though because its anti consumer for gamers. I hate the fact that games that are 3rd party can be timed by Sony or Microsoft its a cancer for gaming imo.
I agree totally time exclusives need to go its very anti consumer imo to the game industry and its stupid to pay for games that will be multiplat anyway. The only thing time exclusives does is fuel fanboys on all platforms and stop the progress of gaming to be more pro consumer and mature. I get that it helped both Sony and Microsoft but it needs to end.

The 1st game had graphics that blew me away on my 1X so I have no doubt that trailer is close to how this game will look when it releases next gen. Microsoft is using new highly advanced tech next gen for their 1st party ips according to reports which is very smart and allowing all their studios to help each other.

Fantastic reveal. I liked the shock factor with this announcement from Microsoft. Phil has redeemed the Xbox hype at the awards show, because that E3 2019 was very mediocre this year.
It would be great if the mindset of console gamers would change from being cheap so Microsoft and Sony can truly create cutting edge monster consoles for $600 -700 max without having to worry about it flopping. The benefits will be great for console gamers and it will bring consoles even closer to the lastest PC technology instead of having to wait for another mid gen console or next gen. PC gaming ports will be greater as well because of the consoles updated tech.
Im glad at the direction Phil is taking Xbox right now. All the Xbox needs is new exclusives that can reach Halo and Gears of War levels which generated a lot of hype in the industry for the 360, just like Sony did with the Last of Us for ps3. If I was Phil I would hire some great story writers next gen so the Xbox team can make more story driven games.

Love the look kind of reminds me of a pc tower and my Xb6 Comcast modem. This is a very unique looking console and I think it has a hell of a lot of power for next gen gaming.

That's my issue with it. Why bring a next gen console out that is less capable than 1X with graphics makes no sense. 4k tvs will be even cheaper next gen so I hope Microsoft will make Lockhart more capable.
I believe Microsoft will be successful with launching the Lockhart next gen if they can show at E3 just how much of a difference in power it is compared to 1X, because a next gen console should be more capable than a previous one, but that is not what Im hearing from insiders they are saying 1X gpu is still superior than Lockharts which is a recipe for disaster imo. Microsoft better make sure the Lockhart can play many games at 4k 60 fps as well just like the 1X can do with many games because...
