Definitely a step in the right direction far as Xbox 1st party exclusives are concerned. The Coalition did a awesome job with this game by taking risks and not playing it safe like Gears 4. Xbox still needs to continue to put out more quality exclusives if they want gamepass to grow and expand next gen. Much needed win for Xbox.
Its going to be interesting next gen especially with the tariffs thats coming which will affect the game industry. Xbox Gamepass will look even better next gen if the prices of new AAA ips will start costing 70.00 or 80.00 at retail and if online digital prices do not change for the better. Its a tragedy this game is not on Xbox at the same time as PS4. I never really understood publishers blocking multiplat games from players. Its a real anti consumer practice that needs to end.
Shenmue will not end even on 4. Remember this game is only 40% of the series so it might end on Shenmue 7 but who knows if Suzuki will get another funding after this game. I hope people who are real fans will get over that petty epic store issue and see the bigger picture which is the series conclusion.

I really hope Suzuki can make a Shenmue 4 game because he has lost a lot of support from backers with the epic controversy. No Microsoft needs consistent quality new ips to compete with Sony and Ninty next gen. Gear 5 is a great start but it's a franchise that doesnt excite the entire industry.
