How do they differ from the Xbox back compat titles that are already available?
Owner of both Pro and X1X. Love em both. Pro for the few Sony exclusives I like, X for all 3rd party, back compat and Xbox online stuff.
Same here
Um no...
To be fair, box retail stores are dying left and right. It is not just Gamestop. There are many reasons for this. Digital is one of them.
Put the games on all platforms. Better for all gamers and the industry, imo.
Truth is truth. Nintendo is doing their own thing.
PS5 will only have PS4 back compat(rumored). I don't expect anything beyond that..
The title is misleading. As a multi-console gamer, put the games on every platform possible is my view. Better for all gamers.
Nope, not as my tastes go. Old school single player gamer..
Aside from Nintendo, that is pretty much what I expected from Sony and MS. Fine with that..
There is no way the consoles are going to be $399, maybe the bottom end consoles if there are several different power levels, but I am thinking given the specs they are hinting at minimum for the top end consoles I am expecting to pay $499.
Phil is Lord!!
Awesome news. Whatever the reason, I thank MS for BC, as It will be a no brainer for me to upgrade to the scarlett as my favorite consoles are Xboxes, the last 3 generations.
I agree 100%. Any game can be ported if downgraded enough, but its portable, right..
I agree. Us console only gamers who could care less about the PC for gaming are absolutely looking forward to the next consoles from MS and Sony.
Yep, I am fine with the consoles. O interest in PC, so looking forward to next Xbox and PS5.
Multiconsole gamer here looking forward to what's next from both Sony & MS. MS especially given the great job they did with the X1X.
Or it could be as simple as many of us being oldschool gamers and being able to play old games enhanced like playing NG for the orig OG Xbox or the hundreds of 360 games I already own enhanced on the X1X and beyond breathes new life into the games for many of us retro gamers. It really is that simple for me.
