This is my life story. In a week I had 24 hours clocked in. More than Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, which I have a much stronger emotional attachment to.
Just get the straight Euro Truck Simulator 2, play it a bit, and if you enjoy doing a few freight runs, pick up "Going East!" It adds lots of East European countries and stops. High Power Cargo Pack is also fun because you can get giant freight jobs.
Everything else is mostly just custom paint jobs for trucks. But hey, all the DLC and the game is only $10 on the steam sale, so if you have the cash, perfect.
Which is all well and good. But MatPat's theory himself is that the system is working the way it was intentionally designed. "YouTube's algorithms are optimized to drive increased watch time."
He agrees that the system is working as designed. MatPat's concern is that if YouTube decides to shift focus again from increased watch times to something else, it would jeopardize many YouTubers.
It should be noted that the YouTube's algorithms aren't broken; they're working exactly as intended.
I'm really shocked that they went back on their original decision. The person who cut Hatred was the Vice President of Marketing at Valve, not just some random person.
No word on that yet. You know how Blizzard is: if they're not 100% sure, they won't say. It's still not on iPhones yet (that's hopefully going to be 2015), so we can assume that maybe Android late 2015, early 2016? That would be my guess, at least.
Can we nominate this for worst game launch of all time? Because holy crap.

It's crazy how this complicated game can still manage to grow even more complex.
The game has been on PC for ages. In regards to the Playstation consoles, I'm sure it'll be debuting at roughly the same time. It's not like it's too much of a struggle porting things over, since they already have a finished game.
@Concertoine With regards to your sales figures, let's remember to factor in the traditional Wii, since Wii U has been a flop in the market. Those totals are at 101 million units.
Correlation doesn't equal causation. Just because people bought one platform once, doesn't guarantee that they migrated elsewhere, even if for many this is a reality.

I don't think I could get into this after getting into Hearthstone. But I love how hard it looks.
Yeah, that was an egregious error. Felt very much like a cash-in to Destiny for being "totes epic bros." I haven't heard one song from Destiny outside of the game. But Coeur de Pirate is SO talented, and the instrumental piano in Child of Light is some of the best music I've heard in any video game.

The indie category was so hard to choose from. I'm so glad Shovel Knight won. But wow, they were all so good.
Another point that should be mentioned... these kids are upset and don't want their private information exposed... so they're taking it to a PUBLIC court, where all their information will not only be formally released, but will be engraved permanently into the annals of history.
For people who are upset about invasion of privacy, standing in front of a spotlight seems a curious way of stopping scrutiny.
