If you put an album on YouTube and listen to it, nothing new was generated. It was the original piece of artwork, essentially stolen, and redistributed for profit. It's akin to burning a DVD and selling it on the streetcorner. None of the money goes to the original artist and all of it goes to the uploader.
With games, every single moment, new content is generated. Although the game itself is the same game everyone plays, each experience is different, and this allows a p...
You mean this isn't a totally appropriate way to react to a video game? :P
All reports seem to be no, cutscenes will not be skippable. Very annoying indeed.
There's nothing wrong with a cutscene heavy gameplay. The Last of Us was also great. But that means that the entire game attempts to stand based on its story, rather than its gameplay. If The Order can do that, good for them. If not... ouch.
That would be really ideal. Just so long as this isn't wasted as an exclusive to arcades.
Yeah, I picked up on the series at Soul Calibur II, so I missed a lot of the... inflation, for lack of a better word. Just stay away from my Talim, don't touch her. ♥
True facts. I was merely comparing the Japanese arcade market to the international arcade market.
Whenever I look at ladies with that super unrealistic anatomy I just think of Demolition_D from YouTube. "Is this an attempt at seduction? Am I expected to be aroused? Am I supposed to be sexually excited by three volleyballs stacked closely together?"
Sadly, Japanese publishers don't necessarily agree. While you're right that it may eventually release on consoles, Japan is very insular. The arcade market is booming over there, so an arcade brawler is a natural fit in their market. That doesn't naturally resonate in European and American markets except with niche audiences.
Technically what he's doing is not illegal. The person who leaked the footage to him was the wrongdoer.
Could they even do that without messing up their game? ;)
For a company with a multi-million dollar profit margin and budget, they shouldn't be selling games that are broken for half of players, especially as a full release.
If they can release a game as big as Far Cry 4 with minimal issues, their flagship franchise can at least be functional.
At which point is "Let's rape her" not a gross sexual act?
Heavy Rain was fantastic to share with someone. Especially for someone who's not a traditional gamer. ♥
Such good points! The combat in this game is great.
Keep in mind that those games have had several YEARS of development, whereas HotS has only just entered closed-beta a few weeks ago. They game isn't released yet; they have a long way to go, and shouldn't yet be compared to peers except by direct game mechanics, at least not yet.
I can't believe it's just going to disappear! It doesn't make sense. Wasn't this program pretty successful? Oh Nintendo, whyyyy???
I'm really glad that the turn-around is going to be pretty fast. I was worried it would be like "play ep2 in Christmas," and the release is due out in March! I can happily wait 30 days :)
I love it, personally. It's the main form of media I consume. TV is extremely boring to me because it's too fluffy and formulaic. I never know what is going to happen when someone plays a video game. And if I played the game myself, it's interesting to watch someone else play it to see how they did things differently.
The reason I didn't include her was because she already was featured in the Left Behind DLC, so it felt a little cheap. Although yes, if that didn't disqualify her, she would be #1 on my list.
