Hypothetically, Nintendo could take him to court if he used Nintendo content. It'd be silly, but it's not out of the question entirely.

But on a base level, even though it doesn't affect Felix personally, it does affect many of his co-workers and personal friends who are not as well off as he is.

Seriously, there are so many games I scoffed at when I heard about them, but when I actually saw them played, I had a change of heart. It's easy to think, "Oh, viewers just watch the youtuber; they don't care about us." And that is true, to an extent.

But I value these people's opinions very highly, so if one of them recommends a game, it rises to the top of my list of games to check out very quickly. For instance, Cry played Armello last weekend on hi...

What site is that? I've been looking for one, but don't know which sites are good for that.

Yeah, the big worry (and reason you have to be considerate to people who do get fooled into phishing traps) is that the mistakes are so easy to make. I would hazard that even the most seasoned internet folks have accidentally fallen for a phishing trap of some kind at least once.

Better to educate people on positive ways to improve their internet conduct rather than shame them for making a common error. :)

So excited for this game! Earthbound 2.0. You've gotta love how talented Atlus is.

Seriously. The charade has to end eventually, and they'll have to start taking their game seriously, as a business. A business that can't sell their product in stores because they were 2edgy4U is going to be in trouble later down the line.

@ytpharuko Agreed. GTA or even Manhunt are great examples; the first is a sandbox, where literally anything goes, because there are no rules - the latter is a directed experience that's intended to horrify (you're not intended to like what you're doing, and neither does the protagonist).

In Hatred, it GLORIFIES violence against innocents. And that's gross because it's just stupid as hell, and increasingly stupid because we all know that this game is going...

Yeah. I mean, I respect these guys for making a thing. Good on them. But the content is obviously desperately begging for attention in order to drive sales. Make a good game and let people buy it, not just whirl up into a frenzy just because it's "edgy."

I know! I just played it last night on PC, and even when streaming, it ran beautifully on ultra settings. It's so sad that the PS4 can't even compare... I can't even imagine how bad the Xbox One edition will be.

I agree. I really don't think the game is as near finished as they like to imply it is. Although it definitely makes me wonder how large the final product is actually going to be.

4 hours is getting to pretty long standards for most demos. I'm curious if that will actually translate into player experience or if it's just a broad estimation.

If I were to guess, I think it's going to be pretty small. Square-Enix wants a lot of hype for this game, but looking at the trailers, they've pretty much shown one section of gameplay near that gas-station with Cid.

We'll probably be able to wander around near the lake with that big dinosaur thing, maybe a bit of the forest nearby, and the road. That's my guess, at least. I would love to be proven wrong. :p

PC optimization is VERY hard work. The benefit of consoles is that their equipment is standardized, so developers know (or at least should know) with 95% certainty that the game they make will run exactly as it was made. You see this same problem happen on Android phones/tablets since there are so many different varieties, which is why more developers developer for iOS devices first.

With PCs, you have people who basically have supercomputers and people who are playing on bri...

I think the lesson here is to not preorder games. No judgement if you enjoy that for the perks. But it's usually wiser to wait for reviews to come out to make sure the game works so that you don't end up wasting money on a crap product if its release ends up being a a steaming turd. ♥

Yes. I would rather play a finished game that works than a released game that doesn't. For further information, see Assassin's Creed Unity. :)

The video is linked there, both on N4G and the article. :) Game Theory gets your view regardless of where you view if from. Nobody is making you click anywhere except onto the great video.

It's focused on the games in this weekend's steam sale, so it's limited by design.
