Excited to see how it looks in motion.
Nintendo has been slowly developing improving their same 3D game engines since the GameCube this is the reason they still use similar hardware as well. The Wii Us CPU is basically 3 overclocked GameCube CPUs with some modern features. This enables them to carry over all their existing engines to further improve upon instead of having to do a complete overhaul (Example the new Zelda U game is using an enhanced Windwaker engine) People always bring up specs but specs don't tell the whole st...
You do realize what your complaining about is an industry wide problem across basically every single gaming studio that has more than 15 staff members, and for you to just bring this up completely off topic and point your finger at Retro makes you look like a complete and total ass...
Same goes for idiots below who decided to drag feminism into this thread for absolutely no reason. Samus is basically the original video game heroine and she is strong and beautiful and if anyone has a ...
I would be alright with Retro reuseing the DK engine for a 2.5D Metroid but would obviously prefer something more like Prime. So many awesome possibilities with the Gamepad could be had in another Prime game...
What was that must have been the wind...
The performance and lack of filtering is a little disappointing however at least the framerate stays pretty consistent, even with the dips its not irratic which would be more noticeable. There is also a possibility of a day one optimization patch to alleviate the pacing further. Some games don't benefit that much from AA or AF Nintendo has developed a very nice soft lighting engine that makes the jaggies less noticeable in MarioKart 8 while still retaining a crisp sharp look.
I was making fun of the people disagreeing with ritsuka. I often see people post positive comments usually in regards to Nintendo and then they get downvoted from said sad losers (usually diehard Sony zealots) Sarcasm can be hard to grasp in this context I thought the hnnngh would be a give away but nope. I'm happy to see ritsuka has more agrees now compared to when I posted earlier.
Man there are clearly a large percentage of sad losers on here. I disagree with your happiness and excitement for good games coming out hnnngh lol... Now I will lose a Bubble for insulting the community.
Yah pretty lame how they all the NPCs just stand around shuffling there feet occasionally, kind of breaks the immersion... They should at least be rushing forward attacking and getting knocked back even if it was just for show. I want this game to be awesome but its looking pretty meh unfortunately...
Why would these guys think that Bayonette 2 will eventually come to other consoles... You would think they would do their research before stating that in a video...
Yah too many characters wielding swords but I think this all ties in with providing the 3 Mii types their varieties of moves sets. What I'm trying to say is there are basically 3 types of characters in this game brawlers, swordfighters and ranged characters this includes the character roster. There will still be a massive varity within these three types and this doesn't really take away from the game, its a design choice that probably helps speed up development while providing fans wi...
Nintendo have always used state of the art compression techniques for all there projects. This is just another example of them being clever and working around limitations. Wii U's only have 32 gigs of space so they purposely make the games small so everyone can still buy plenty of them without having to upgrade.
Enjoy all the half assed PS2 unpremium cars the GT series has to offer because more is better lol...
Vforvideogames and Dasteru you are both wrong and right. Yes Forza is a great sim but the majority of people playing are using a standard gaming controller with the majority of assists on making it an arcade racer.
You need a solid racing wheel to make a racing sim a racing sim, playing with a gaming controller is half assed and in no way an accurate representation of driving a car.
Well comparing DriveClub and ProjectCars is kind of irrelevant, yes they are both racing games but one is a sim and the other leans towards arcade. ProjectCars runs at double the frame rate and is simulating far more complex math so I expect DriveClub should have the upper hand in strait up visuals (on PS4) Both will be great, I prefer sims with a high quality racing wheel but DriveClub will prob be better with a regular controller.
Love these trolls that just need to be herd and can't stand that others are excited about something that they can not comprehend. Must suck to be troll with nothing better to do than sit under your bridge of negativity and ignorance. Enjoy your troll life.
Natty Graham you obviously lack any kind of imagination, how is a person like you even into gaming... Oh yah not a real gamer just troll...
Great list looking forward to trying some of these...
It's funny every time someone mentions potentially superior controls from the Gamepad they always get downvoted. The truth threatens the fanboys...
(Avalanche dev team) We completed the 360 version.
(Disney overlords) Great now get started on the Wii U version.
(Avalanche dev team) OK - highlights all code - copies - pastes. Should we optimize code to run on all three cores?
(Disney overlords) Nah one core should handle it.
(All involved) Maniacal laughter...
