Microsoft knew the game was rough but they thought giving it a budget price would make up for the performance issues
Sony has already won this generation with the standard PS4. The Scorpio being more powerful in terms of hardware isn't going to change much of anything in terms of market share.
This really sucks for gamers at the end of day
I'll pick it up down the road once its cheap
It would have only sold like 10 copies on Xbox in Japan anyway
Why would Sony be backed into a corner?PS4 is the market leader across the globe.
I don't even play online games that much so i'm just going to let my sub run out
Remedy tried to find partners for Alan Wake 2 but none wanted to fund the project
QB is in the situation as Alan Wake both were huge failures at retail.
Those games listed only appeal to people who are already Xbox fans.Microsoft needs more than power to win over gamers who aren't sold on the Xbox brand.
Its too late for Sony to upgrade the Neo to compete with Scropio in terms of raw power.
Microsoft did this to themselves by building an app store with so many restrictions/lack of features that PC gamers expect .on top of that now folks have to be worried about a game they bought on the Win10 store maybe not being supported due to change of plans{Quantum Break}. Microsoft aren't building back any trust within the PC gaming community with their actions.
Greenburg continues to be one of the worst PR guys at Microsoft with all of the crap trail behind him over the years
Just because its a single player game it doesn't need patches?multiplayer titles aren't the only ones which benefit in terms of performance from patches..There could be bugs and etc that need fixing and without the ability to patch those could ruin the experience for gamers.
Microsoft aren't doing themselves any favors by killing off support for the game on Win10.This move is going to make even more folks stay away from their app store going forward.
Its awesome that Remedy are going to break down that Win10 wall
Remedy must have pushed for a Steam release after the lackluster sales of the Win10 app store version.
The leaked specs may be true but we should find out everything at the reveal or when DF gets hold of the machine
There is no reason for Microsoft to attend TGS being as they really have no market share in Japan.
.I doubt publishers are willing to fund any huge budget single player software from Remedy because of how bad Alan Wake and Quantum Break sold at retail
