I would think the flooding in Thailand (disrupting alot of the hard drive supply, aka the prices) coupled with MS stating that Halo 4 is a xbox 360 release, all but insures us there wont be a 2012 release of a new 360 system. Crosses fingers for 2013.

There have been dozens upon dozens of new ideas and genres. Problem is they dont sell, so just check the bargain bin and at any Gamestop and youll find all your looking for.
As a hardcore gamer, I mildly enjoy Ninty titles, but do luv playing them with my kids. 2 huge stumbling blocks I see the WiiU having to crack the hardcore nut: 1.) that controller (i just couldnt play any real fps game with that), 2.) online play.
I'm pretty sure about 95% of AAA games released in the past year are 720p, which is 1600x1400 resolution.

I don't even have time play all of the limited number of 360 exclusives + multiplatform AAA games that came out this year as it is now. Wouldn't need to see anymore because they would be way back logged.

your "facts" are based on hypothetical hardware that has not been confirmed by Ninty. with that said, based on the ninty business model in the past generations, Id say your prediction is probably correct. but that doesnt make it fact.

You can only turbo charge a Ford Pinto so much before a a whole new platform is needed.
After the update, my 360 wouldn't connect to live. I opted for the common sense approach and power failed it so it would reset itself. Works just fine now.
