I bought the kinect Fruit Ninja game at 50%off today ($5). Cheesy game yes, but very fun to play with your girlfriend or kids.
Wasn't the ps3 security hack this year? Something about about stolen credit card info and not telling the fanboys about it until 1 week later. Cool.
Not gunna lie, went out and bought the silver lancer and the gold hammerburst only because others wont be able to get them soon.

If you personally like the ps1 game better, than so be it, but that was definintely taken way out of context. Theres no way your Ps1 was better for the simple fact you couldnt go online. More likely, you were at a different place in your life (younger, more spare time), because theres no doubt ps3 (graphics obviously, wireless controllers) is better than the ps1.
Want it alot, but idk if I'll buy it right away. Way too many other games came out in past couple of months that require my undivided attention.
If not video games, fat kids would be watching tv or just sleeping alot. Thus there's prolly more going than video games causing over weight issues. Heck Im not active, play alot of video games, eat alot, but im skinny. Go figure right!
Price-to-power ratio, console can very easily overtake pc's up until the last couple of years of the console life cycle.
Um because I dont have $3,000 to spend on a high end pc only to play online wih a bunch of hacks to ruin that experience?
How much can you really blame Sony? They have a free online service with prolly volunteer interns manning the guns.

Seems like a nice deal, but the only causionary tale I'd tell about Amazon is that I bought a game from them last month that included a $10 credit. I went to use the credit about 3.5 weeks later (reasonable time youd think) and it was expired.
Im like wtf *reads the fine print* you have 2 weeks to use it. Thats pretty shady, imo, but ya half my fault for assuming a 30 day reasonable time frame.
You cant really mean those kid cartoon graphics. Um even the wii has open world games like that (they dont as good obviously, but still...open world).

This fiscal year sony is projected to lose another few billion dollars, again, thats been happening for the past few years btw. You can bet dollars to donuts psn wont be free soon and you see a mass exit of paying 100 million sign on bonuses to get exclusives.

Yes Ps3 has more exclusives, but how many games do u really need to be happy? I cant afford the time (money I can, but dont want to), on the current slew of games out now, I just bought 5 new release games in the past 2 months. Plus I bought a couple of arcade games on top of that. Idk....

O you couldn't be more wrong. Fanboys will always have material to fight over: rrod vs Ylod+hacking, superior controllers, free vs paid online, M$ being an evil corporation run by a sith lord, etc.
I bought my console mainly for reasons other than exclusives, since both have more than I can afford anyway. I bought mine based on wut most my friends had because the social aspect is my main consideration.
Gears, Splintercell, and AW aren't multiplatform. I realize that fanboyism will skew "facts", but I mean come on, use google search. They aren't multiplatform (besides pc) only speculation. Link the source confirming release dates because u won't find them.

Im lvl 22 now and I rarely ever find peeps to group with (but I do play late at night). 95% of the quests are solo quests, so im sure where Thrust got the notion that its nothing like a single player game.
With that said, pvp matches seem pretty fun so far and general chat can be entertaining at times.
