Your correct as far as desktops being alot faster than the laptop counterpart, but you went a bit far in exaggerating the 3.5 year gap in the technologies. I play warcraft and star wars: old repulic both in 1920×1080 at 60 frames per sec. I can drop down to 45 fps in a major town, but thats not any lag that I notice (has to get below about 20-25fps to have observable lag).

They dont get very hot in those gaming platforms. Havent for years now. Ive owned a few asus g73 gaming laptops over the years.
Keep in mind all the laptop components use about a 1/4 the energy draw/heat as the desktop counterparts. Also laptop parts dont perform nearly as fast as a desktops either. So a 580M is about a year+ behind the performance of the desktop 580. Quite decieving marketing tbh.

Gear of Wars 3 was easily the best in the series (and best selling), so the comment really came out of left field on it slowing down.
Would be nice if Gears 4 was a multi-platform release.

I think that statement is just a complete cop out used by a couple of companies. How else would you explain PC games that have been developed over the past few years using advanced game engines.
I was kind of impressed with this game for a few reasons. First off, using a green leprechaun instead of a stinky plumber was superior. 4 leaf clovers vs trippy hallucinnogenic mushrooms (nuff said). Im not much into caring about copying great games like Mario (I mean come on even patients expire after a few years). Last, ya this isnt the most polished game ever, but it costs $1. So your not going to have million dollar dev teams working around the clock to perfect the gameplay.
I believe your Vita will constite a brand new 3g plan, so you wont be grandfathered into an a previous unlimited plan. Unless your refering to tethering, but thats a different matter. Furthermore, these 2 options are loopholes and not available to new customers even if you are able to xfer the data plan.
Well to be honest a wired cable/dsl connection dominates wi-fi if you wanna live in a perfect world.
Sony should have offered 3G as an add-on accessory where you could pick your service provider.
Idk either that or just go with sprint and call it a day (cheapest plans and unlimited data plans).
At&t was the worse possible solution that could have came up with for people interested in 3G service because there are alot of places that isnt covered by wi-fi (i.e. up at my work : )

Except that its a huge pain to pirate on the xbox and ps, plus you get banned online if you try and play a modded console that plays pirated games.
The whole video on LA Noire (IF u bothered to watch it) had to do with a detective solving misc crimes such as rape and murder. HOWEVER, the title of this title and my original point (IF you bothered to read it, which signs point to no) is the headline was misleading and if anything there was no supporting arguments given in the authors article that rape was "acceptable".

Watched the whole video and read the article. Which is where my basis came from. You know what they say about assuming? Guess what you just assumed.....and were wrong.
If you want more than the half dozen solid exclusives last year, than go buy some arcade titles, or heres an idea, there was like 15-20 AAA multiplatform games last year. Or does it have to be an "exclusive" so you can tuck it under the pillow and feel good at night because its more precious. lol gtfo!
Or there would be just different flavors of troll bait articles. Like system X from 5 years ago was so much more original and exciting than the current one or the pc has more mature players, etc. The sky is the limit here.

Actually there are more 3rd party games on both systems than there are exclusives.
To the arguement that more is better I have 2 words for you: Justin Bieber.
Its apples and oranges. 2 different categories and purposes. Obviously a desktop is cheaper and better performing, but I need a laptop for work and on the go. Hence I cannot pack my desktop inside my briefcase and use it in a hotel room to game with.
