I can see why some people like WiiU for some games on it, but it's about to become even less significant because next-gen devs are going to be even less likely to make games for it since they didn't go with a x86 cpu like pc's, ps4, and xbone.

That would be pretty nice but they do sell 3rd party adaptors. Part of consoles selling point is their controllers. So they don't have any interest in sharing them.

Consoles don't want you doing that. A lot research went into showing how much of an advantage k/m have over controller in gaming tournaments. I don't see why that is, but they must more precise somehow.
Improved d-pad, tactile triggers, and superior wifi direct make the xbone my go to controller. You left out the share button on the ds4. I do like that and the bigger size.
Touchpad and nonsense gyro thingys will prolly end up being another gimmick like Kinect that I wont be interested in.

As a gamer, its better ps4 and xbone are not bc. The x86 cpu will mean better games with less glitches.
The low to mid components of consoles will bottleneck long before either type of 8gb ram would be a factor.
I wouldnt be so sure on that ram being such a huge factor. My gaming pc has never gone over 4gb ddr3 for 1080p. And thats with using windows 7 which is a much greater resource hog than console os. But we'll see.
Ps4 is mandatory online charges. Vita has proprietary memory cards. They are all guilty of maximizing profits.
With that said, is MS more guilty of it than Sony? I'd say yes to that, but then you'd have to acknowledge both are more greedy Nintendo.
