To an educated consumer that would have been good ideas. But to fear mongers on the internet, just the mention of drm causes fear and notions of secret Nazi governments taking over thru your TV's.
I think you may have triumph'd all of MS bad ideas with this one.
Businesses don't get "scared", happy, or horny. However, they do not want to cut into profits. Business 101.
Completely irrelevant unless your AMD is portable. Steaming games from your pc is one side, minor feature and isn't required to play android games or nvidia ones.
Backtracking a negative, the glass is half empty view, imo.
Some might say, they listen to what the market is telling them from pre-orders. And why wouldn't you do that, if it was your business?
@overlordor
I was with you on the expensive part, but then you totally lost me on the "cant be taken anywhere".
It's a handheld, so not following you there at all. I thought that was the whole point of it. I mean the thing does have full access to the android market and whatever games are on nvidia's lineup.
Apple had the opposite effect on me. Seriously dislike closed systems, way overpriced hardware and accessories, small cell screens, unable to change the batteries on anything, charging an arm a leg for software that's usually free on android.
Need I go on, lol? Still have a few more grips. Like they are sue happy....
The ironic part is people still under the impression that they have rights under the new socialist America movement.
I was looking forward to the of drm where youd never have to load your game discs again. Woulda been nice.
You really just had to pay a slight amount of attention in junior hig to know that level of politics. Graduate of poli sci wouldn't be needed. : P
Wishfully thinking. Cant blame a fella for that.
True but at what point does it get saturated? For example, 1000 games vs 1250. I cant even play that many in a lifetime nor afford that many. Becomes a moot point at some point since 90% are multiplatforms.
@XoF
Xbone did announce 13 exclusives at E3, which is a lot more than ps4 has announced yet. So your argument is pretty last gen along with the whole paid online debate.
Both systems have their pros cons for sure. One thing few mention, Xbone controllers are using Wifi direct which is much superior tech.
Doesn't make up for the $100 difference but it is a nice advantage.
"It rhymes with a word that doesn't exist?"
I never said it was a real word. Pretty sure we all learned how to sound things out based on the letters in grade school.
B- for the troll effort, but only a D+ for the execution of it.
Cliff went multiplatiform lovin like 1-2 years ago. Welcome to old news.
Any smart business will change based on consumer wants. Business 101.
Last I checked, the lesser of 2 evils is still evil. That's why consoles are run by businesses not moral authorities leaders.
" ANY reason to be happy with the DRM policy"
I was happy with the full game on my hard drive and sharing with family and friends. That's 2 reason why it was better for me.
Too bad your cell phone and laptop cameras are already doing that according to the conspiracy theorists.
