I use the Kinect for chatting with friends. For me i love it. Headset no longer needed happy out. No longer need to plug in wires to communicate.
The voice controls can't happen with no kinect. You be just using your controller and that's not next gen really.
Kinect for me is worth the price, you get a camera, can talk and chat without a headset. I rather have it than not.
It uploads at 720p which is a decent resolution for game videos.
5 minutes i think is the limited, but i think you might be able to upload multiple clips together, but not sure on that?
Yes you get a code when you upload to Youtube from your x box 1. You go to the internet and type Youtube.com activate enter your code in the box and this links up with your account on youtube and xb1.
You see all your videos than and you just pick one to upload.
Its great. It was a pain uploading to the one drive first and then to Youtube again. The new way is better.
This is why this site gets mocked by people who like x box. Its a shame N4G is full of people who are just so negative about everything Microsoft does.

It was forza on PC what you on about? It was using directx12 running at 1080p and 60 frames.
x box 1 isn't using directx12 yet.

I like N4G the gaming stories are great, but Sony has militant fans and they just aint all there in the head, just got to accept this and move on, and ignore the disagrees.
If people watched the whole video. There was more buildings in the scene than the one building been shown blown up. It was a tech demo-game sort of.
What it showed was a high end PC struggling to do the game physics, more stuff blown up the frame rate, got worse.
When Microsoft used the cloud and a high end PC the frame rate remained constant when stuff blew up.
So Microsoft is showing the cloud can increase performance substantially.

It coming to the xb1? I would not be surprised if we see some physics been done on the xb1 cloud, in a few years. XB1 is a beta console its a test of what the cloud can potentially offer.
The next console from Microsoft probably will be the next level up.
Cloud give us dedicated servers.
Cloud give us cloud storage.
Cloud allows Microsoft to update the console quicker.
Cloud is been used for AI with games on xb1 and matchmaking.
Now Microsoft has shown a demo of games been rendered on the cloud.

Matchmaking is for the classic Attrition and Hardpoint playlists now.
It used to be just matchmaking beta@ Attrition.
I played it a couple of times. Attrition is not a playlist i play your team can lose based on kills against bots.
I prefer pilothunter or hardpoint, better game modes.

Ryse was running at 900p and 30 frames a launch game and still considered by neutrals to be the best looking game on either console so far. Ryse was using a low level of Raytracing too. Less powerful than the PS4?
Forza still the only first party game on either console to hit 1080p and 60 frames. Driveclub couldn't do the same.

Yep it doesn't add up unless Microsoft is holding something back. Sony fans think we are going on about an extra GPU nope that was never realistic the cost alone was too great.
The GPU the only one in the x box 1 isn't in my opinion a 7000 series GPU, it just can't be it full supports all directx12 features.
I have my doubts a card designed for directx11 can handle the next wave of graphic and performance upgrades.

Gears of war for me too. New studio better graphics new story, new characters. Microsoft likely will spend money to make it good, so i am very hopeful it will turn out great.

Forza runs at 1080p and 60 frames, using Azure. XB1 can do better than this.
