Pro gaming there is no money in it unless you play for a really good team who wins stuff.
Some games have more prize money. It will get better in the future, but now only selective few games, can you make money from doing it.
Youtubers make more money from advertising games, than pros do playing those games.
I'm all for it. I prefer if they stick to video games stories though.

I must admit i was never a Halo fan, played it never understood why it was so popular.
Destiny therefore hasn't excited me all that much. Going to play the beta damn right. Hope i like it.

It comes down to games eventually who will win the console race. Its too early for anyone to be shouting doom and gloom for xb1.

PS4 scheduled to get the beta earlier than xb1. That's good for PS4 fans, i have no issues with that, it happens on both platforms all the time.
tide turning in UK, no more stock issues for ps4 and people are starting to realize ps4 is mainly hype. Titanfall still doing its job showing serious legs.
Its software sales not hardware sales, lets not downplay Sony's success in the UK.

I read somewhere a person asking a Sony fan why you not buy infamous? Why bother it be out for PS plus in a couple of years and people then wonder why Sony lost money last generation with the PS3.

Does it matter. Once one fan thinks like this countless others could too. Its a slippery slide when fans prefer to get a game for free, than purchase it at launch, helping out the studio...
They've sold 4 million consoles + in just 13 countries in under 6 months. Some countries around the world have populations of only 4 million people. Hardly what you call not selling.
Sony is selling in 72 countries 7 million. Lets get some reality here can we?
XB1 fans are buying more games than Sony fans. This all games on both platforms.
Software sales are crucial for a console to be considered a success.
Price is the biggest factor to why people have not bought an xb1 yet. Microsoft will likely reduce the price and still keep kinect.

I have lots of friends using the 360 still. I ask them when they getting one? When they can afford it, thats the usual answer i get back.
Lets be honest x box fans and Sony fans if you haven't played all the games listed you're just talking out of your ass.
E3 is the best chance they've got since launch to turn things around. I still think launching in fewer countries has obviously not helped Microsoft sell more consoles.
Sony actually had a dire E3 they showed hardly any games, but they came away the winners at E3 because of the bad F--- UP Microsoft had with its policies.
This E3 is all about the games and potential for Microsoft to turn things around. Sony may not have a better line up of games than Microsoft at E3, but they may have a good press conference, and showed off enough games to please the Sony crowd?
The fact we know Sunset overdrive, quantum break, Halo are yet to come i can't see Sony matching Microsoft's game line up for 2014-2015
But i can't be certain til E3 is over and dusted.

Microsoft has had press conferences, meetings, talking to devs, AMD and Nivida and Intel attending talks.
Shown how game physics can be done on the cloud and directx12 how it will work.
Sony makes claims on the web, of similar things coming to openGL but no outline of how it will be done. Sorry i going to believe Microsoft when they demonstrate progress in front of people with more knowledge of this stuff than i.
Microsoft has the infrastructure to do game physics and rendering by the cloud. The tech demo is prove they are working on it. Microsoft one of most successful software companies in the world, is hardly going to make a claim, they can't do. Sony fans expect everything at launch. Where is the Sony streaming cloud service? Do i expect it never will happen, no, takes times to bring stuff out, and be sure it works for everyone.

Gears of War is third person and my view has the best multiplayer experience on the 360. Its a fast game too. This has peaked my interest in the game. Call of Duty is boring now needs to be doing something new for me to buy it.
Sony is using the old way like Microsoft did on the 360
Microsoft cloud can push out updates and tweak and modify when required. Sony cant do this, so they have to be sure their update is perfect before releasing.
I'll show you a decent PC on ebay for around 560 Euros. Its not a well known brand name, but specs are all there except for the OS and a graphics card.
