RPG of the Year - Witcher 3.
Best Art Design - Bloodborne.
Best Soundtrack - Witcher 3.
And on and on. Plenty of games this year but nothing on par with those two, and Bloodborne felt like a complete and satisfying game from beginning to end with enough replay value to warrant the full price.
MGS5 was repetitive, Witcher 3 had great story, Bloodborne had great gameplay (better than pretty much every other game out there), amazing lore and atmosphere, but most of all it felt complete and satisfying.
Bloodborne is a nice satisfying 5 star dinner and MGS 5 is like 6 Big Macs at McDonalds, tasty but ultimately you feel like crap afterwards.
To be fair the level design is pretty bland, downright shite imho.
How about getting rid of the discs all together. Just put a key in the box and be done with it. Unless bluray becomes a standard on PC they might aswell.
Like hell I'm going to sit there and fiddle with 8 discs or whatever count it's at today.

That's a weird argument, look here's the thing, I want to get through every mission undetected and non-lethal because that's always been MGS for me. What this means is that I will use tranq rifle and tranq pistol whenever I can and go in for grab and choke when not.
