I'd agree with you if it was any other game. This just isn't Miyazakis thing, if there's a season pass it's bound to be really fucking good content. Same goes for CDPR. Hell even Dark Souls II which is the weakest game in the series by far had some really good content in the season pass, well worth the money.
Thing is I can throw my money at respectable devs all the time.
As for the rest however, You are right, fuck paying for DLC that's ...
Yeah, that part of the reason why I'm slightly disappointed by every Bethesda game today.
I remember when I finished Morrowind and imagined what they would do in the future - Seamless transitions, more armor and weapons, more choices that mattered, bigger worlds, deeper customization etc.
But somehow, they just went backwards. Take Fallout 4, one step forward, three steps back. :(
Shouldn't that be an reason to actually change? New Vegas did have loads of bugs but it also had a much shorter development cycle.
Considering the same bugs have cropped up in Bethesda games since Morrowind, then yes they should change the engine.
Either they are incompetent and can't fix the bugs, or the engine is too much of mess (which it is). Or they simply don't care.
As far as the graphics go. The art-style is good but when ...
"Experts" in what exactly? In VR? Must be a bustling buisness... Or not.
Trust media to give them proper titles, like this moron in Sweden who they called a 'historian', idiot hadn't even finished his degree.
"Experts" my ass.
Nein. Comparisons shall be made.
Quality journalism by Patricia Hernandez right there people.
Pathetic...
If the stats and possibly other things will be stored client-side at release. Then have fun playing this on PC.
I certainly won't be pre-ordering however no matter what platform I end up playing this on.
Ultimately it's the developers making the choice. They don't give a damn about what people say, not the big ones like EA, Activision and Ubisoft. They put a product on the market and see that it's selling big time, year after year, and for every time they strip more and more content and yet people keep on buying it, pre-ordering it and buying into their DLC-schemes.
We can either keep feeding them or vote with our wallet, stop pre-ordering, stop buying their DLC, ...
But, but, but, bad buisness!
"Same garbage as the lady wanting a PG13 version Deadpool (rated R) so she can still break the rules and take a 9 year old to watch a movie that's not for him. Some stuff isn't for you or made for you."
What the hell, where does this damned entitlement come from?
"ME ME ME ME ME!! Gaem to hrad must gief ez mode!"
@DeToX420 Sound more like you are the lazy one here.
And no it's not bad buisness so long as the product is profitable and there is a market for it.
Nobody gives a fuck about some "top tier market", if that's CoD, Destiny and whatever junk EA and Activision spews out then frankly I couldn't care less.
Profits don't make a good game, good design does.
Look, if there was a difficulty option in Souls/BB and you just cranked it down to "casul mode"/"game plays it self" it would no longer be a Souls/BB game.
The whole point of the game is to persevere when the odds are stacked against you, to be smart about your engagements and to sometimes think outside the box, if a boss kills you say twice you're obviously doing something wrong and need to change your approach.

Sounds like he got carried through co-op or something in Bloodborne, because in all honesty Dark Souls isn't THAT hard.
Most of the time in the Souls games and BB it comes down to your mentality, too many times I got owned because I got impatient and tried to rush things.
While looking back at when I played Demon's Souls for the first time I methodically progressed with a pretty low amount of deaths due to playing it safe.

Xcom 2, dark souls 3.
To hell with identity politics, disgusting regressive crap. Give me good games with good stories and characters.
If you want black characters write them yourselves if you feel the game lacks such, a writer will almost always write their characters from their own perspective.
Push for polish, better gameplay, less meaningless money grubbing DLC and NOT 'diversity'. Keep your marxist politics were it belongs - up your ass.
It's a bit of a mix between DS and BB, the best of two worlds if you will. Animations and everything feels like Dark Souls 1 again and not shitty like dark souls 2.
Welcome to gender politics and social justice. It will only get bigger and bigger when the media is spinning their narrative. We can either stand up or see everything we love be destroyed.
Set in the Antartic, heavily inspired by HP Lovecraft, and about descent into madness. Fuck it, take my money, take all of it.
People are finally realizing that HP Lovecraft is the master of horror, just look at the best horror movies out there, all inspired by Lovecraft in one way or another.
Yes, truly timeless tbh.
From Software have really shown that they can be trusted though.
You probably think EA, Craptivision and Ubishite when you hear season pass. From Software has a track-record of great expansion/DLC content, so don't worry.
