But yes it did look cool in some places.
It's superbly well written, it looks great, but the combat feels off. I wouldn't say it's bad, but it isn't particularly good. It feels like they wanted something akin to the souls-series combat but had way too much mocap get in the way. It feels floaty and the hit detection can be complete crap.
But for all the shortcomings in combat I feel everything else makes up for it.

Didn't think it was THAT bad, tbh. It's not like it's the head of the company coming out to bash the competition. A little friendly shit posting never hurt anyone (unless they are perpetually offended). There will be plenty of bashing on BF5 when it comes out what with all the bugs (yes they might aswell advertise it as a feature at this point).

Well yes and consoles don't vary hardware wise so it's by and large inexcusable for consoles. I can understand games run bad on some PC's the thing that pisses me off the most is when they don't include options to turn off mouse acceleration, vsync etc or when the options are generally crap.
And then there are games like Fallout 4 that really have no reason to run bad on any modern rig. So incompetence is certainly a factor sometimes.
