State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves has been dated right?
Minor visual downgrades
none of which affect gameplay
The question we should be asking is about the frame rates
I did too
can't get enough of Lara
The game looks more polished than the last E3 footage.
hope they make an industry shaking statement
from a software standpoint
now that there's no hardware left reveal.
that includes PC sales too.
Nevertheless, the company seems to be happy with the figures.
Which means fans are likely to get another entry sometime in the future?
you're not alone lol
What a massive stretch
It reeks of desperation.
The console is only a year old.
How do you think early adopters will feel if a new iteration is suddenly introduced?
The respective audience of those titles you listed already have the hardware to play those games long before the Switch existed.
It is way too soon to be talking new hardware revision
let's be honest
remote play was not optimal experience. Streaming games to the Vita is a dud.
Remote Play is not comparable to the Switch experience at all
Who said it was?
we can't suddenly change what a new console generation means just to suit our narrative.
The general consensus has always been that once a new console hardware releases its a new generation.
It's not about your feelings or tech specs.
Switch is a new gen console.
Any company can hiccup at any time.
Sony did with PS3.
MS did with Xbox One.
Nintendo did with WiiU.
Its how you bounce back that counts.
Will next gen be the first time everyone gets things right from the get go?
for the rest of the generation, sure.
a new generation is a clean slate and it isn't far off. The marker share will be up for grabs again.
switch has got a head start
I think we are in for some aggressive competition next gen between the companies.
from a business perspective
the game needs to be protected from juggernauts. Its a new IP after all.
the only annoying thing is these companies know very well in advance which of their games they're going to delay strategically.
and still they will advertise the games as part of the line up for the current year via conferences and trailers.
they sure do
but you can't please everyone obviously
6 months jam packed with games after games
hasn't that always been the case?
release new iterations of the same hardware to extend the lifespan
like a slim version or XL or minor hardware upgrades.
still not a permanent basis though
they got caught slipping in the ps3 era . . where they had to recover from
no one is invincible . . with the right strategy any company can be overthrown in the market.
Switch back in action for example. . can never count anyone out
people don't adapt to play bad games. . they don't really have much of a choice once everyone has moved on to a new iteration of hardware. When the latest COD or FIFA is only available on the latest hardware. . they don't have much of a choice. . those huge software titles have massive install bases.
we have to move on. . that's just how tech works
That doesn't change the notion that the quality of games may have declined or become stale.
is it mandatory?
if true -> riot
else -> nothing to discuss
