Games are timeless
These statistics don't come as a surprise.
Gamers have backlogs and there are only so many hours in a day.
Some missed out on certain games. Some are trying to catch up on an older game because a sequel was announced.
Red dead State of decay for example. It could be a game you just love to revisit because you like it that much.
Remasters and remakes top the charts for a reason. Yes...
there will always be compromises
even next gen.
It may just be less apparent.

The metric will always change.
First it was: The X can't do native 4k on newer AAA games. That got debunked.
Now it has been changed to 4K/60 lol.
Although Microsoft never claimed 4K/60 on the first place.
I wonder who is placing these metrics on the X.
Sales don't do anything for the individual's experience.
Sales don't improve frame rates graphics or resolution.
Sony's the one who benefits from more sales.
I'd hope the larger install base would buy more than the lesser install base.
