i don't know, what gaming related event could be happening in new york soon? ^_^
very interested to actually see what this event reveals, read nearly all the rumours, but no hard facts yet.
i look just like megan fox.
i'm not lying, that's just the truth as i see it.
clearly that's as accurate a statement as anything randy's said about this game.
i have to agree, especially when they're charging a fee to access services that are free on other devices, barring the cost of the services themselves, which you also have to pay for on top of the gold sub.
they're charging people for the right to pay other people for their services.
honestly, i'm surprised all these companies aren't pissed off, ms are charging people to access their services.
i imagine the movie studios would...
suddenly that thousand dollar jacket from capcom doesn't seem like such a big deal. ^_^
nobody else remember D'arci Stern from Urban Chaos.
black and a woman, a rare combination for a lead character back then, well, even now come to think of it.
anyway, Urban chaos was a decent game hampered by the technology of the time, i'd love to see D'arci return on modern hardware.
style over substance?
i hope you're right, but common sense seems to be in short supply in this industry lately.
maybe they don't understand why the games industry feels it deserves something no other industry gets.
why their fair share isn't enough for them, they want to profit from our purchases even after we've paid them for them.
maybe they like to own the things they buy.
ever heard of something called first sale doctrine?
it says that once we've paid the publisher, their right to dictate what we can do with our pur...
i agree 100%.
for a great game a demo is a fantastic marketing tool, there have been quite a few games i've only bought after enjoying the demo, many of them being games i would not have considered otherwise.
they've also put me off a few games though, but then they were bad games and didn't deserve to be bought.
if you make good games demos are your friends, if you make bad games they can be your worst enemy.
but...
"Those who buy a game used are contributing absolutely nothing to the people who poured their blood, sweat, and tears into crafting that experience. Instead, online sellers, GameStop, etc. are the ones who collect all of that profit. Call me crazy, but isn't something wrong with that picture?"
bull.
if i buy preowned copy, i can be sure they got paid for it.
and buying used means the stores can keep offering trades ins which me...
yeah the one and only ps3 game that is region locked from my understanding.
they changed something that was standard for every other ps3 game, just to protect their high prices in certain regions.
i can see why they'd want to do it, from a business perspective.
but from this side, the side of the consumer, it stinks, so i say again, screw this game.
and any other game that decides to follow suit because they want to force us to pay more.
thank god i don't give a shit about this title.
i mean, i'd like to play the persona games, but not a bloody one on one fighter.
all this, just so they can sell it on the eu store a a vastly inflated price.
i hate this kind of precedent being set.
publishers will now start to think it's ok to region lock titles so they can force people to buy the overpriced local versions instead of importing.
screw this game.
i think i'd probably call it an open galaxy MMO. ^_^
Dust 514 is not a sony title, it's linked to Eve Online, the mmo, CCP Games published that.
doesn't look any better than my monitor, that i just watched the video on. ^_^
yeah i know, lame joke.
the PS band.
Tretton on Drums and Kaz on guitar and lead vocals.
^_^
sony seem to be supportive of F2P titles, they've got a few themselves, DCU Online, Free Realms, the Killzone 3 multiplayer is free as well isn't it?
and then there's Dust 514.
i'm sure they'll be just as open with the ps4.
hey. maybe ms will wise up and be more supportive of F2P on the next xbox, though it won't really be free to play because you'll still need to pay for live.
so, their only comment is "no comment".
pretty much what i expected.
i'm thinking, even if i haven't got a wii u when Monolith soft's sequel/spin off/new rpg comes out, i may have to buy a copy anyway, not to sell, but to play when i do get a wii u, because i'd hate to have to pay those kind of inflated prices for the game.
because if the sequel is anywhere near as good as the original, i have to play it.
anyway, back to the original, i'd like to see nintendo maybe do a rerelease at some point, to make the ...
there seems to be a bit of a schizophrenic air to ms when it comes to the xbox.
on one hand they seem to be all about all these new multimedia features, at the cost of games, but then they also seem to be using those multimedia features more as a tool to sell live.
if they really believed all these other services were the future of the xbox they would make sure every xbox owner could use them.
