final fantasy, last story.
final fantasy, last story.
final fantasy, last story.
no, not at all similar. :)
two weeks?
couple of days i expect.
this is another anti piracy measure that will only hurt legitimate buyers, pirates will be able to play whenever they want while people who bought a genuine copy will be at the mercy of ubi's servers and their isp.
i am a big fan of the settlers games but no thanks.
and who wants to bet you need to register your game with its serial number to log into their servers too right so no trading in.
this is not some anti ms comment because what i say applies to the ps3 wand or arc or whatever they're calling it this week.
an over 50% attach rate seems wildly ambitious to me.
what add ons apart from extra joypads have ever reached anything like that kind of attach rate?
that's my biggest fear with something like this, if that's your only gaming platform you have to keep giving these guys money to keep playing, maybe if you're the type of gamer who rents every game then this service will be perfect for you, but some of us prefer to buy.
this is all assuming it evens works well, if not then it's not worth anybody signing up.
and i suppose they'll go with the male shpard for the movie.
shame because i think a female shepard would follow well in the tradition of heroines from sci fi movies and tv.
ripley, scully, sarah conner and buffy to name a few.
but heck, i'll see it anyway if somebody makes it.
two discs swaps in a game like mass effect isn't a problem, but for a game like forza it would be, in that case you might have to swap discs depending on what track you want to play.
that could involve a lot of swaps.
who even uses bing anyway?
i've certainly never used it and currently have no plans to.
i'd expect to see a mass effect mmo after the main trilogy finishes.
and i think mass effect would make a fantastic movie.
what happened to the trailer?
i'm guessing they don't exactly regret it being exclusive but i bet they wouldn't mind being able to sell more copies on the ps3, before somebody jumps on that comment i don't mean more as in more than it sold on 360 i mean more as in, in addition to the sales on the 360.
wonder how this will affect those who already own a copy.
i was so going to do that joke.
when did women in bikinis becomes nsfw?
what if you work at a swimming pool? do you have to walk around with your eyes closed all day?
square love their fmv, and i have to say i love it too. :)
who's surprised by this? honestly?
maybe the reason xiii is so linear is because they have to ensure players view the fmv in the right order, with content spread across multiple discs you have to have a set order to the content, where it wouldn't be a problem with it all on one disc.
of course that means any multiformat open world title will always be limited.
the slower drive in the ps3 may mean games take lon...
soe really hates providing a service outside the us.
but then that fits in with the wider sony motto of "no plans for europe"
they shut down the everquest adventures servers for europe a few years back, they're still running in the us.
and it's not like pc mmos where you can play the us version, you'd need to import a us ps2 as well as the game.
dvds? hell the wii won't even play bloody audio cds, what the hell was the thinking behind that?
they'll have to paint that thing bright orange or some other dayglo colour if they want to sell that in the uk.
shame about the ghost game though.
there is one major difference.
luke skywalker actually becomes the central figure in star wars.
at no point does vaan ever really matter to the story, in fact you have to wonder why the rest of the party still let him hang around.
fantastic.
in my opinion boosting is cheating just as much as using exploits and hacks is cheating.
so anything that can spoil these cheaters plans is just great in my book.
