they've stolen assets directly from wow, wont be long till blizzard set their lawyers onto them.
and blizzard can afford lots of lawyers.
well it takes less badndwidth to stream non hd movies and there are more wii users than 360 and ps3 users, not much of a surprise to me.
of course they forget how many of those wiis are owned by people who will only ever play wii sports on it.
could be a case of burning their bridges for netflix.
course none of this affects me in the slightest as we don't get netflix in the uk anyway.

there's one thing i want more than anything for the next gta, and that is to make the protagonist a woman.
in about a dozen gta games we've never had a female lead, isn't it about time.
oh and don't forget the fun this time, gta iv was very polished but it wasn't as much fun as previous entries in the series.
and please, i don't want to have to take people bowling to keep them friendly, make it so you get bonuses if you do but please, keep it optional, and don't have people ...
it's a shame it doesn't really show how the consequences of your actions play out but then it is just a demo.
i wasn't sure about the press l2 to move but when the camera can switch position and where you want to go is suddenly in a totally different direction, direct control of your character isn't always the best way to go.
and the only other option i can see would be resident evil style rotational controls.
it has one issue though that does seem unavoidable, the qte style...
the dreamcast got hacked so badly because the hackers figured out how to run pirate games without modifying the hardware so pirate games would run on any machine.
if anybody ever figured out how to do that with current consoles piracy would explode for those machines.
when are they going to realise that this crap doesn't deter pirates, not when these systems can by bypassed in days if not hours, all it does it deter legitimate buyers from buying your games.

is the difference between 720 and 1080 going to matter that much for most users?

i'm going for the ps3 version but if i only had a 360 i doubt i'd be dissapointed with that version, but who knows, i'm not buying two copies to check.
if they can stop the damn thing crashing every five minutes, if i'm lucky, then maybe i will start using it again, until then i'll stick with chrome.

i've read the relevant post on the bioware forum and there was no denial of a ps3 version.
we all know it's coming, they can't say that it is, though they seem to have done everything to indicate that it's coming on ps3 other than to actually say it is.
i'm getting the xbox version anyway, don't want to wait however many months for a ps3 version.

i just love how so many devs will put women in their games if they can be half naked but not so many bother with women if they'd be equal to the men in the game.
can't have women in shooters now can we, no women allowed in cod, moh, crackdown 2, warhawk, mag or brink, to name a few.
i don't mind them showing women as sexy in some games, because at least in most of those games, even though they usually have to wear very little they're the equal to the men in the game in most respec...
the main reason the app store has been so successful is that most of the apps and games cost a couple of quid at most.
if games on the ipad cost as much as similar games on the psp or ds then i think people might prefer proper controls.
and with the ipad you'll only be able to get apps or games from apple.
i like many people prefer it when i can shop around.

not the first time apple have been guilty of this.
they did the same kind of thing with the iphone.
they had to alter the ads for the iphone to state that steps have been removed and you couldn't actually do all the things they showed anywhere near as fast as they do in the ads.
and youtube does use flash
but no dedicated servers is still a good thing.
