this is one of the things i'm getting to hate in this industry, publishers are quick to claim ownership of game when you want to sell them on, by locking great swathes of content or the online mode to single use codes, yet when anything goes wrong, they abdicate all responsibility.

publisher, get it into your thick heads, drm does not stop piracy, it just pisses off the people that do buy your games, in some cases drm will cause more piracy than it will ever stop.

the last time i had fun with a smackdown game was on ps2.
i remember when sega gave a demo of panzer dragoon saga away with the official saturn magazine, that was the whole first disc of the game, i got 12 hours of play out of that disc, you'd never see something like that these days.
it's just a shame after teasing us with the demo they only released like five copies into the country, back then in the pre internet days it was impossible to find a copy.
i want those annual identikit franchises to die the death they deserve, at least until they can show they're not just the same game with a roster change or a few different levels.

it's better if you time you buttons presses i reckon, it certainly makes the combos easier to pull off.
some of the weapon styles like martial arts, poles and dual wield have combos that would be pretty hard to pull off mashing, if you slow down and time your button presses it becomes a bit easier.
that's the way it seems to me anyway.
