shatter is an awesome game. The game is worth buying based on it's soundtrack alone, but lucky for us the gameplay/graphics are just as solid.

Animation looked like something off cartoon network and it really didn't do anything for the series as a whole. I like many others were suckered into buying it, and on blu-ray no less.
another thing that differentiates dead space from event horizon is the fact that event horizon for the most part is pure crap. It started off great but paul anderson can direct himself out of a paper bag and thus, ruined the film.
Dead space could be an awesome horror sci-fi movie. Horror and Sci-fi are my favorite genres, hopefully this exceeds my expectations.
yea the gameplay does look extremely similar to gow but the setting, playing in hell. i picked this game up last night, i came back from the bar with some friends and started playing it and everyone was loving it, especially the music. awesome game, you can buy the soundtrack (or stream the whole thing) off the shatter website.

that's cause you're probably not used to the ps3 controller. I hate playing my brothers 360 cause i'm not familiar with the controller. I know the 360 controller doesn't suck but i'm just not used to playing games with it. I never have any problems with my ps3.
On a side note, the only controller that ever made my hands cramp was a dreamcast controller.

the wii sells like crazy but i honestly don't know anyone within my age group, im 24, who actively plays the wii. Mine sits on the shelf for the most part, i played some star tropics the other day though. I use it for the virtual console mainly.
The 360 is a joke. I'm not saying the games are terrible or the specs of the system are bad, but it's such an unreliable system. bringing up the ps2 is a moot point, and yes the ps3 has the ylod, but systems fail. Heck, all electronics fail.
The fact of the matter though is that people play up the ylod to be more than what it is, but the rrod will eventually happen to most 360 owners. i have a ps3 with 26 games (and counting) and i have roughly 20 blu ray movies. I've also owned the system for less than a year.

The only system that has failure rates like you speak of is the 360.

Good list, i own all those games except for heavenly sword. I would have added 'folklore' to it though if i was the author. That's a great game and sadly is really overlooked by most gamers.
