launch era ps2, bleh. sega dreamcast? one of the best systems ever. Sega Saturn, another gem that was sadly overlooked. TG-16, this system was so awesome. My neighbor had one when i was a kid, so many great shmups on it and playing splatterhouse as a 5 year old. Woo boy, nightmares for weeks.

i prefer r2 over r1, mainly because of the online co-op. I love both games but the story is much better in r1.

Seriously, the fact that we get articles like this every 3 months proves the point that the wii is a "casual" system. I grew up playing Mega Man, Castlevania, Contra, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, etc. Those are not "casual" games. You had to play them for weeks/months to figure out the enemy patterns in contra or to find out where to go in Metroid and Zelda. The wii has been branded a kiddie system, i don't think that was nintendo's intention but 3rd parties have made it that...

yea, im not holding out hope for it to be on the ps3, because if it is exclusive and proves to be a great game then ill get it for the wii. I'd love to see what the game would look like on the ps3 though based solely on GI cover. That art style would look absolutely fantastic in HD.
if this is true it's kinda disappointing. Jack the ripper has always been fascinating to me, i've read many true crime novels on the cases and it's really interesting. I'd much rather play a game where you're a detective for scotland yard and you're trying to track him down. Either way, i'll most likely buy it if it is indeed true. The streets of london at night could be extremely creepy.

i really wanna get this game but i'm not gonna lie, the difficulty scares me, lol. It would be a blast though to play through dungeons online cooperatively. I think after i beat uncharted2 & ratchet and clank ill pick this up.

You enjoy your games and i'll enjoy mine. There's no need to bash the ps3, it's a good system. The 360 has some good games too and i'll probably buy one if they can find a permanent solution to the rrod/e74 problem, and that isn't meant...
i need to get this game, i love dead space on my ps3. I really wish the wii was HD. At first it didn't matter to me, but after owning a ps3 for a while now, i find it very hard to come up with reasons to play the wii. Maybe this will be the cure?
i think this might be the first game that i'm kinda jealous about that is exclusive to the wii. I have a wii but i'd much rather see the game in HD glory. I know i'll get flamed but let's be honest. I'm sure the game will look good on the wii given the right talent and art direction but any good looking game on the wii can look 10x better on the ps3. I'll have to keep my eye on this, i hope it's a platformer in a 2d sense.

i thought the same thing until i played the demo. It's actually extremely funny and fun as hell. I didn't plan on buying this game 36 hours ago but now i am. It sucks, uncharted2, ratchet and clank, brutal legend, the list won't stop!!
