you summed it up right there.
there is nothing more infuriating or frustrating than owning a system and not being able to play games for it.
There are so many games I want to play but I cannot because of Sony's lack of support.
I really hate the pspgo, a good concept gone horribly wrong.
Avoid the pspgo like the plague.
This handheld is quite possible the most worthless gaming device i've ever owned.
Why?
Sony does not support the POS. What the heck is the point of buying a gaming device if you cannot even play 25% of the games available for the system?
You know what sony released on the psp store last week for game downloads? I'll tell you,
UNO
Freaking Uno
Thanks sony, I spent $300 on...
I have this for the ps3, really cool game.
I wanted to get it for the wii but I opted not to buy it because I didn't want to give money to ubisoft after playing the disaster that is, 'Red Steel.'
good god.
Who cares if the game made it to the 360 and ps3. Some nintendo fans are acting like the game is worthless on those systems. Motion Controls did not make No More Heroes the unique title it is known for, it's the art style, story and dialog that mainly set it apart.
It's a solid game on all 3 platforms and Nintendo fans should be happy that the game made it to multiple systems, that means more and more people can enjoy the game for themselves. The wii still has...
Why don't you go and read the review.
The guy isn't bashing it for being hard.
"Being bested by the same monster time and time again can be immensely frustrating, especially after you’ve spent the better chunk of an hour taking him on. However, it’s genuinely rewarding when you finally prepare for the bout perfectly, striking down the beast with a deadly combination of tactics, weapons, and gear."

"If you can look past ...
there is no war because it's not and hasn't ever been competing with any other systems. Nintendo made that clear from the start.
They don't want to compete on the 360/PS3. HVS is talented but they can't hang with the FPS franchises that are out. They basically said the same thing when they announced 'The Grinder' for the 360/PS3, those versions are going to be completely different from the wii version. It's going to be overhead style similar to 'Hunter: The Reckoning', I suspect the wii version will remain FPS Left 4 Dead style though.
Paying for demos is utter BS. I sent an email to CRYTEK and this is the response I got,
"Hi,
Thank you for your email, however, there is no official news that a Crysis 2 demo will be released or that there will be a charge for it.

"the psp has established great franchise such as patapon, monster hunter, upcoming metal gear, the minis, and the psn classics."
patapon yes
monster hunter yes, at least in japan
the minis? over priced garbage
metal gear peace walker is widely viewed as a joke in the gaming community now that we've seen snake munching on doritos and drinking mountain dew...Plus, the psp didn't establish metal gear, the nes & psx did that.
...
well as a multi-console owner (wii, DS, ps2, ps3, pspgo, sega saturn, xbox) I can tell you that the 360 is looking extremely tempting with Alan Wake on the horizon, not to mention that Trials HD is freaking awesome.
on a side note,
what in the world does the 360 have to do with an article regarding the psp & ds?
I really wanna get this game but I don't know if I have the time to play it, I still have to beat valkyria chronicles, ffxiii, white knight chronicles & resonance of fate....
No motion controls will not replace traditional gaming controllers.
Case in point,
You have the wii, a console that is marketed as a motion control gaming console.
You have Capcom who develops Monster Hunter Tri, Nintendo helps market the title and the game is waited for with much anticipation.
The game doesn't support motion controls and a CLASSIC controller is totally revamped for this title & comes bundled with it.
Motion...
Maybe it's just me but i'm getting really sick and tired of seeing crysis 2 stories on n4g.
I've said it before, 2010 is a huge year for games, we don't even know what is in store for us at E3. I don't think console gamers are getting excited for a multi-plat sequel to a game that they most likely haven't played.
I know i'm not.
The psp is not just a mp3 player, it has tons of great games. Since you brought up mp3 players though...how's the Zune doing?....moron.
As for, "8-1 is 8-1"
Just because something is getting outsold doesn't mean it's garbage, look at the neo geo pocket color and the wonderswan. Those are highly regarded handhelds that went under because of low sales, they didn't go under because they were garbage.
Both the DS and the PSP are solid handhelds, me...
I hope your joking....
Remember at E3 last year when Jack Tretton showcased the Hannah Montana themed PSP?
The DS rules.
I'm 25 and I bought a psp and DS both at launch and I sold the psp a few months later to my friends kid. I recently bought a pspgo and while I enjoy both handhelds the DS is the better of the two, plain and simple.
I know people have differing tastes & whatnot but the DS has one of the best gaming libraries ever.
Both are a must have though if you are a jrpg fan. Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride on the DS is easily one of the best games I've ever played...
while i prefer the ps3 to the wii, the ds is head and shoulders above the psp in terms of software. I absolutely love my ds, i had the original and traded it in for a ds lite, accidentally broke the screen and went out and bought a new one that same day. I take it everywhere with me.
On topic though, the reason the psp suffers so much is because of piracy, it's bad on the ds too but everyone i know with a psp has it modded and they just download games. Developers know this too as...
Resonance of Fate is awesome, that's if you aren't impatient and are willing to learn new things. The game is definitely not user friendly but after an hour or so worth of battles it comes together. I really enjoy this game.
Ha, i thought this was something concerning an actual suit made for wii fit. How funny would that have been?
hmmm, call me crazy but i bought a pspgo so that i would be able to play psp games. Not psx classics or psp minis, minis were non existent when I bought the pspgo. Besides, the minis are over priced garbage and are usually ports of .99 cent iphone games. Also, I have a ps3, so if I want to play psx classics or the minis I can do so on my tv.
The pspgo is horrible, why have a system when the library is so limited. Sony does not support it the way they should. This is fact, I realize ...
