Two odd things about this article. The seem to like the Multiplayer which is practically non-existent.
Second they talk about respawning enemies. I have yet to find one place in the game where the enemies respawn continuously. Every level I have played that has numerous enemies - such as the large courtyard areas - can be bled dry of opposition if you are patient.
I have yet to see an area that has non stop spawning. There may seem to be a lot of enemies but even...
Well you can say that after you toss your buddy Mart onto the fire. He leads the pack in fake stories. So after you scream bloody murder for his head then you can go after someone else.
As regards DLC, ask yourself what it is. Is it horse armor ala Oblivion? Rockstar has stated it isn't an entire new section of the city. Second, after 75 hours of play time, what other games will be appearing on platforms you own at or before the end of the 75 hours?
For persons such as myself that have all 3 platforms there are several titles coming out in various genre.
For all owners, Iron Man is out only a few days after GTA and it is getting very positive pr...
Here is a fact I know from experience. If his actual build is dated 2/21/08 then there will be very little change to the final version. Games have to arrive at reproduction facilities in gold master form a minimum of 3 weeks before street date. A game of this scale, added to the fact Bluray reproduction may be involved (not sure which medium they used on the PS3 version) the game will need to arrive at the production plant 4 weeks out.
Own a PS3 George? No? There goes any shred of substantiation. The weight of your comments concerning the PS3 = zero. In fact I don't even see a 360 tag for your name.
You are 23? That I seriously doubt. You have the literary skills of the village idiot. Adolescent attempts to beat a swear filter say nothing for your maturity either. Persons such as yourself are the very reason Xbox LIVE has garnered such a reputation for infantile VO antics perpetrated by screaming malcontents.
He remarked you sound as if you are 16 years old. He wasn't stating your age. The very fact you cannot distinguish simple second grade English doesn't bode well for ...
No. He used to be but over the past 2 years look at what he has written. It's nice to make comments like that but read EGM and see which way he bends in the wind. He outright attac ked Sony on several occasions last year alone. He isn't the Shane from PS2 days. You can live in denial if you want but that Shane is long gone.
Just picked up my preorder disk and MGO beta key from Gamestop. I have two copies of the Limited Edition coming - one is a gift to a new PS3 convert - and I can't wait for this game to arrive. Even Shane Bettenhausen, well known disliker of all things Sony has had glowing praise for the game.
The 360 isn't outpacing the competition. It is in last place in sales pace. The only reason it was on top was it got out the door first. That is over.
The Wii is on top and Sony is gaining ground so fast it isn't funny. Outpacing? No, you need to go to dictionary.com. The 360 is BEING outpaced by the Wii and the PS3.
Do you understand what the word 'originally' means? The article has been revamped/rewritten. They even allude to this at the beginning of the write up. It was all over the internet YESTERDAY - APRIL 1st. Welcome to last week.
Yes they showed the game to 'this guy'. So what we get is 'this guy's' opinion. Remember Black? Remember how they called it gun porn when it was only shown to a handful of people behind closed doors? Remember how it was the second coming of FPS titles? This is even less promising.
This game is starting to remind me of some other great flops in history. They show you a few screens and then hype the title to death. Much ado about nothing so far. "We are revolutionary! We are the cutting edge! You should see what we are bringing to the gamer!"
Yes we should see. But until you can show us you need to throttle back on the hype cycle and lay of the hype pipe.
This is April Fools but....to answer another question there comes a point in development where having more people on a project actually hinders it's production so there would be people to handle other projects. A well staffed development team is always 1 if not 2 projects ahead.
Since when is dev time an issue? Or an excuse. We are talking the best, not least amount of time. Valid excuses for getting stomped in the graphics department = 0.
