@ Breakfast. I have been in the game about 3 hours and haven't jumped into MP. Co-op though is the king's biscuit and well worth it. I am going to catch a movie here at the house but I will get into MP later tonight. I will be happy to let you know what I think.
The game isn't perfect. It has some holes in it. Noticeable 'some one drove a truck through that wall' type of holes. And it isn't a HALO killer. No game is a HALO killer because HALO which I really like is unique. just...
I picked up the game today. While the vehicular portions need refinement I have had a very enjoyable time with the rest. I had Army of Two and returned it and I almost never take a game back or trade it in. Haze is easily superior to that. Not in the graphics department but in overall gameplay and value of time spent. And none of my AI team mates have been responsible for my death the way they constantly were in AO2.
The core of what the devs were trying to produce is a good st...
@1.4 - You were not telling me anything I wasn't aware of in the first place :)
The reason I posted as I did was to demonstrate the article is in error and should be removed since it a blatant lie. Either the writer was aware of the truth and wrote the article as slander - it is an Xbox site - or else the writer is an idiot and in such a case the article is useless.
The lie is very blatant. It isn't a matter of opinion if something is more pleasing to the eye th...
You left out the fact the PS3 has outsold the 360 since 2007 and has been gaining on it the entire time. MS knows this and has thrown every lie they can at Sony. And it hasn't worked.
That type of negativity is great for journalism and gaming. Why? Look at what the standard method is. Take Haze. A game with reviews yesterday that started a huge war. Now Haze may very well suck. I don't know but will buy it anyway. But it may suck. IGN gave it a 4.5. But you would never know this from reading the prior 3-4 previews that occurred in early May. If a game is so bad it warrants a 4.5, the issues that glaring, where are they in the preview? Not a word...
I agree but the trash talk will not end June 12th. No, we won't see MS fans wondering WTF happened until July when the numbers from June come in. Then we'll see people like Shane Kim trying to find a rock to crawl under.
Alan Wake is delayed to 2009.
PS3 also has
The Agency
Afrika
White Knight Chronicles
Valkyrie of the Battlefield
Jak and Daxter
Wipeout HD
Siren Blood Curse

MS talks anytime they are worried. Ever notice that? Especially the 2-3 days prior to NPD figures. They are the world's biggest blabbermouths. Their tongue wagging is increasing as Sony continues to outpace them in worldwide sales and closes the gap on the number 2 console.
They are talking now because of June 12th. Everyone and their brother in the game business world, not the game fan world realize the impact of the Konami website crash. Fans, particularly Xbox supporters are...

It isn't MS. It's people like Shane Kim that are ridiculous. Their lies are so transparent that it is insulting they think anyone in their right mind would swallow them. But then again, there are plenty of fish out there with an oral fixation.
No shooter in recent memory has been less about freedom of movement and more about go here and do this preprogrammed very canned action right now than has COD4. That game is the king of move to the X painted on the ground and do this action and only this action. Yet that game gets a pass on something which appears in minor form in the demo. But then again it is 1Up. The website with an agenda.
