I think the statistics may be skewed by "free games".
All the free PS Plus games that I get, I probably never would have paid for them. I might play them for a small time, but then I never finish. Hell there's many that I download and never play at all.
I don't recall ever buying a game and not completing at least the main campaign.
He must have been talking about Red Dead Redemption or there is a major typo. I don't recall Red Dead taking that long. I think the main story was less than 20 hours. Even completing everything wouldn't take that long.
The chart shows average game completion time is 12 hours.
There's no way in hell it is that small.
Ya I took one look at the address and said no way.
Must? Or what?
but but but but but the glare on the screen!!!!

You're the one who asked the question.
When people say DX12 isn't going to help.... they are saying that it isn't going to close the gap between Xbox One and PS4.
That is true.
Maybe because Phil Spencer said it himself? Yes, it may have a little help... but nothing significant. Consoles are designed to work efficiently with the hardware.
“On the DX12 question, I was asked early on by people if DX12 is gonna dramatically change the graphics capabilities of Xbox One and I said it wouldn’t. I’m not trying to rain on anybody’s parade, but the CPU, GPU and memory that are on Xbox One don’t change when you go to DX12. DX12 makes it easier to do some of...
You think just because Phil presented something it was his idea?
One of the best trailers I've ever seen for sure.
The stupid difficulty surely is one of the reasons why it sucked. There's a reason why there hasn't been another game made since over 20 years ago.
@gangsta
Consoles already have low-level access to the hardware. They don't need software changes to help. This is why consoles are able to create great looking games without massive specs.
Funny how people talk about Battletoads like it was some awesome game. It was horrible. Maybe they can make it into something good.
Easy answer why. People make money on the internet with clicks.
N4G makes money when people go to other sites from it. That is why they approve nearly everything.
I don't disagree about the Console A vs B crap... but I disagree about these types of articles. This is a gaming news site, strategy isn't news. These Destiny Nightfall articles are the only strategy articles that I ever see.
Additionally, these are the same nightfall strikes that have been out since release. This isn't anything new.
Preorder bonuses have existed for years, enough already. Companies can sell their stuff however they want. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Games prices have been the same for almost 10 years now. Instead of raising the price to $70, they get their money through other means .... DLC.
Games are actually cheaper than in the past if you factor in inflation.
Hell, some SNES and N64 games cost $60 or more, that was 20 years ago.
Stop approving these. This isn't a site for game strategies.
You basically start by saying that nearly every game is innovative. Then you come up with lame examples of innovation. Story time period? Music?
Innovation isn't needed to make a great game. Leave it at that.
No they didn't. They said they were tweaking them to give other players much more time to react.
Yes, when every other month MS fan boys have something new that is going to save the day.
